Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist to perform on August 22nd and 23rd
WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 8, 2015) – The Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular featuring Shawn Klush and The Sweet Inspirations is back by popular demand, bringing their electrifying magic to Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Keystone Grand Ballroom on August 22nd and 23rd.
Klush, a native of Pittston, Pennsylvania and known as the “World’s Greatest Elvis,” will be backed by Elvis’s own backup singers, The Sweet Inspirations. Klush has been recognized worldwide for his renowned Elvis impersonation, including his sultry looks, energetic vocal style and swaying hips, and has long performed alongside Elvis’s closest friends, musicians and singers.
Tickets for the Saturday, August 22nd dinner show at 8:00pm are $175.00 and $125.00 (minimum purchase of two tickets required) and include a three-course gourmet meal inspired by the King himself (details at mohegansunpocono.com). Tickets for the Sunday, August 23rd concert at 8:00pm are $60.00, $30.00 and $20.00. All tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 12th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Klush has received numerous awards and accolades for his performances including being named champion of the World Elvis Tribute Artist competition, “Best Concert Elvis” by Gibson Guitar Company, “World’s Greatest Elvis” by BBC1 Television in the United Kingdom, and the “Worldwide Ambassador of Elvis” award and “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” by Elvis Presley Enterprises. Mohegan Sun Pocono will host the largest party in all of northeast Pennsylvania every Thursday starting May 28th with their annual Party on the Patio series. Each week, live entertainment will be provided by some of the most exciting tribute bands in the country. Sponsored by Coors Light and Absolut, this highly anticipated party starts at 6:00pm on the Racetrack each week and will feature $2.00 Coors Light drafts. WILKES-BARRE, PA – Due to the threat for inclement weather, tonight’s Party on the Patio at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be moved indoors to the Keystone Grand Ballroom. The party will still start at 6:00pm with music by Stayin’ Alive a Tribute to the Bee Gees at 7:30pm. This is a 21+ event.
Be sure to stop by the Ryan’s Run 5 Display, located in the pre-function space just outside of the Keystone Grand Ballroom, to learn more about the awareness and fundraising campaign and/or donate. Receive a free official Ryan’s Run 5 shirt with all donations of $30.00 or more.

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Although summer is soon coming to an end, it will go out with a bang! Join Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Labor Day weekend as they celebrate with fireworks, live music, a car giveaway and more!
On Sunday, August 31st, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be awarding their Grand Prize winner from August’s Luxury Volvo Giveaway. One lucky guest will be chosen to drive away in a brand new Volvo XC60 AWD. Winner will be drawn at 6:00pm and must be present to win.
The fun continues as David Foster and the Mohegan Sun All-Stars take the stage in the Keystone Grand Ballroom for a FREE performance at 7:30pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As a long-established force in the southeastern Connecticut music scene, Foster has assembled a team of top-notch musicians who provide a solid night of entertainment and a rocking good time.
Afterwards, be sure to check out the fireworks extravaganza which starts at 9:30pm. Fireworks are open to guests of all ages.
Aside from our exciting Sunday finale, there are plenty of other festivities for you to enjoy during the Labor Day weekend at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. On Friday, August 29th and Saturday, August 30th, Rodney Laney, Thomas Kelly and Scott Bruce bring the laughs to Wise Crackers Comedy Club at 9:00pm.
