Every Thursday night, enjoy live entertainment and drink specials on the track apron
Mohegan Sun Pocono will host the largest party in all of northeast Pennsylvania every Thursday starting May 28th with their annual Party on the Patio series. Each week, live entertainment will be provided by some of the most exciting tribute bands in the country. Sponsored by Coors Light and Absolut, this highly anticipated party starts at 6:00pm on the Racetrack each week and will feature $2.00 Coors Light drafts. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements about new Party on the Patio beverage and food specials.
Party on the Patio is a free event and open to guests 21 or older.

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Due to the threat for inclement weather, tonight’s Party on the Patio at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be moved indoors to the Keystone Grand Ballroom. The party will still start at 6:00pm with music by Stayin’ Alive a Tribute to the Bee Gees at 7:30pm. This is a 21+ event.
Be sure to stop by the Ryan’s Run 5 Display, located in the pre-function space just outside of the Keystone Grand Ballroom, to learn more about the awareness and fundraising campaign and/or donate. Receive a free official Ryan’s Run 5 shirt with all donations of $30.00 or more.

Celebrations include fireworks, Volvo giveaway, live music and more!
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Although summer is soon coming to an end, it will go out with a bang! Join Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Labor Day weekend as they celebrate with fireworks, live music, a car giveaway and more!
On Sunday, August 31st, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be awarding their Grand Prize winner from August’s Luxury Volvo Giveaway. One lucky guest will be chosen to drive away in a brand new Volvo XC60 AWD. Winner will be drawn at 6:00pm and must be present to win.
The fun continues as David Foster and the Mohegan Sun All-Stars take the stage in the Keystone Grand Ballroom for a FREE performance at 7:30pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As a long-established force in the southeastern Connecticut music scene, Foster has assembled a team of top-notch musicians who provide a solid night of entertainment and a rocking good time.
Afterwards, be sure to check out the fireworks extravaganza which starts at 9:30pm. Fireworks are open to guests of all ages.
Aside from our exciting Sunday finale, there are plenty of other festivities for you to enjoy during the Labor Day weekend at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. On Friday, August 29th and Saturday, August 30th, Rodney Laney, Thomas Kelly and Scott Bruce bring the laughs to Wise Crackers Comedy Club at 9:00pm.

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Due to forecasted inclement weather, the fireworks show at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs scheduled for July 3rd will be postponed. The new date will be Thursday, July 10th at 9:30pm during Party on the Patio featuring Tramps Like Us- A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen. This will be an all-ages show.
Party on the Patio for July 3rd will now be inside the Keystone Grand Ballroom with tunes by Parrotbeach – A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Annual Hot Summer Fun celebrations return featuring hot entertainment, dining specials and a chance to win $100,000 cash!
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is heating things up this summer with their 6th annual Hot Summer Fun celebration. From May 25th through August 31st, the calendar is packed with exciting giveaways, promotions, tournaments, dining specials, events, fireworks and so much more!
Kick off Hot Summer Fun with a Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday, May 25th! Free and open to all ages, this event will be held on the Racetrack Apron and begins at approximately 9:30pm. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Each day of the week brings a new opportunity to win at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The week kicks off with Manic Mondays featuring Dueling Cash Cubes in June and August. Guests will compete one-on-one to grab as much cash and free slot play in 30 seconds as possible. In July, Manic Mondays will feature a Rolling for Rewards promotion. Participants will randomly be selected to roll a giant dice for a chance to win up to $1,000 in free slot play.
Double down on Tuesdays throughout Hot Summer Fun with Table Tuesdays at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. In June, guests can learn to play some of the more popular table games such as Blackjack, Roulette and Craps in a fun, relaxed environment with Tables 101.
Special $25.00 buy-in blackjack tournaments will be held each Tuesday in July and August.
Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs has your cure for the midweek blues with Winning Wednesdays. From Dueling Cash Cubes and Zoomball to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs’ Sixty Second Showdown, guests have endless possibilities to score cash and free slot play each Wednesday at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The fun continues with Throwback Thursdays where guests can enjoy dining specials and happy hour deals, as well as a number of chances to win cold hard cash. In June, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is introducing Mohegan Card Shark. Guests will choose whether each card in the 5-card hand is higher or lower than the next. It’s Christmas in July at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs where 30 winners each day will be chosen to select an ornament off the tree to reveal a prize. In August, Let’s Make a Deal to win cash, free slot play and other great prizes.
The weekend and fun starts early each Friday throughout the summer at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs with Fabulous Fridays. The popular promotion, Anything Can Happen, returns. Guests throughout the property will be selected to win various prizes ranging from show tickets to diamond earrings, grills and even $1,000 cash! Fabulous Fridays will also feature a series of Hot Seat promotions where once per hour a lucky slot or table player will receive $100 cash just for playing. But they’re not the only winner. Anyone playing at the ‘winning’ bank of slots or tables will also walk away with either free slot play or a match play voucher.
Mohegan Sun is the place to be each weekend with Sizzling Saturdays. Guests will have the opportunity to try and win $100,000 cash with Putt for Dough. Make 4 putts in a row from various distances and walk away $100,000 richer. In July, guests can test their basketball skills with Mohegan Hot Shot where they will try to make as many mini basketballs into the hoop as possible. The higher the score, the higher the prize.
Guests can also enjoy Slot Sundays, where each Sunday throughout the summer, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will host slot tournaments from Noon to 4:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm. 16 sessions will be held each Sunday and a guaranteed prize pool of $1,600 is on the line.
But that’s just the beginning. Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be home to some amazing live concerts, sporting events and comedy shows. From Danielle Bradbury to America and Soul Asylum, the new event center in the Keystone Grand Ballroom will be sure to offer something for everyone.
