WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 30, 2023) – Guests are invited to get in the holiday spirit this season with Jingle, the Ultimate Holiday Experience, located at The Hive Taphouse. It’s a swell time to spread some holiday cheer in a winter wonderland while sipping on specialty cocktails and seasonal beers, dining on a savory new themed menu that even the big man himself would approve of and dancin’ and prancin’ to favorite local bands as they perform holiday classics along with their own crowd pleasers. Additionally, guests can mix and a-mingle with Christmas movie trivia nights, holiday karaoke and an ugly sweater contest! Jingle at the Hive Taphouse is a holiday pop-up bar that promises to bring the ultimate holiday experience to Northeast Pennsylvania. Jingle at the Hive Taphouse is open from Noon – 11:00pm on Sundays – Thursdays and Noon – 1:00am on Fridays & Saturdays.

Experience special holiday events throughout the month of December!
Giddy-up! On Saturday, December 2nd from 4:00pm – 7:00pm, guests are invited to don their favorite holiday attire and runs as many laps as desired in one hour at the Wyoming Valley Run Santa Dash. Starting at 4:00pm, guests can register for free with an unwrapped toy. Between 4:30pm – 5:30pm, the Fun Run will take place on the race track. Guests are invited to head to Jingle at the Hive Taphouse between 5:00pm – 7:00pm for drink specials, including $10.00 Miller Lite pitchers, benefiting the Greater Pittston Santa Squad in addition to a holiday costume contest!
Additional holiday happenings at Jingle at the Hive Taphouse include DJ Tommy hosting Christmas Movie/Cartoon Trivia on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00pm, Christmas Music Trivia on December 14th at 7:00pm and Holiday Karaoke on Thursday, December 21st at 8:00pm. Guests are also invited to wear their festive best for an Ugly Sweater Contest on Friday, December 22nd from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. At 9:30pm, CC Music Duo will announce the winners where 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will win $100, $50 and $25 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift cards, respectively.

Six lucky Momentum members will have the chance to win $12,000 each in Free Slot Play! Momentum members can earn entries from 6:00am on Monday, December 25th until 10:59pm on Sunday, December 31st, and every Status Point earned during this timeframe counts as one entry into the contest. Reel in the Years is comprised of Ray ‘Sugar Ray’ Nemetz on guitar, bass and vocals, Richie Kossuth on drums and percussion, and Brandon Jopling on keyboard, bass, guitar, harmonica and vocals. The dynamic trio takes pride in covering songs from 1950s to the 2000s, including hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Temptations, BB King, Pearl Jam and many more. UUU takes the stage on Saturday, December 30th from 8:30pm – 12:30am. Light up the Moon is ready to light up the stage on New Year’s Eve from 8:30pm – 12:30am. Over at The Hive Taphouse, Leighann & Co Duo kick off New Year’s Eve weekend with a performance from 9:30pm – 12:30am. Leighann & Co Duo is the perfect musical experience for any atmosphere, party or function. Whether it’s a party that you are looking for or just some good ole’ relaxing music, Leighann & Company is your choice! Saturday night’s stage belongs to DEUCE from 9:30pm – 12:30pm. DEUCE performs fan-favorite throwback and modern hits from Rock, Pop, Rocked-Up Oldies, Classic Rock and 80s, to Disco Pop and Hard Rock. The Fuchery is bringing in 2024 on a high note with high energy and debauchery from 8:30pm – 12:30am. This group of local musicians plays with no script, running songs the crowd enjoys by request or singing songs they know off the cusp. Guests can also enjoy $4 Yuengling Flight bottles, $10 flatbreads and specialty cocktails at The Hive Taphouse on Saturday December 30th, Sunday, December 31st and Monday, January 1st.
Guests can sail into paradise just outside of The Hive Taphouse with the Aloha 2024 Hawaiian Luau at Embers Terrace on Sunday, December 31st. Starting at 6:00pm, Tropical drinks will be served and the fire pits will warm up the night while ‘Sugar Ray’ Nemetz helps ring in the new year.
Molly O’Sheas is ringing in 2024 with refreshing drink specials! On Friday, December 29th, guests can enjoy a $4.50 Black and Tan from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. Blue Moon drafts are available in a 20 oz. pour for $4.50 on Saturday, December 30th from Noon – 7:00pm. Guests can enjoy 20 oz. Miller Lite Drafts for $4.50 all day long on Sunday, December 31st. Featured cocktails Sailor’s Sunset and Tropical Paradise will be available on December 30th and December 31st. New Year’s Eve at Molly O’Sheas also includes a live performance from THE JOB Unplugged. Drink specials at Pearl Sushi Bar include half-priced martinis from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday, December 29th and $6.00 sake-tinis from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on Saturday, December 30th. Guests can let Rustic Kitchen do the cooking while enjoying all-inclusive cooking shows! The menu on Friday, December 29th includes a classic French onion soup, and Beef Wellington, filled with mushroom duxelles and prosciutto, served with fingerling potatoes, sauteed spinach and presented with a port wine reduction. Dessert is a chocolate pecan pie with a red wine pairing. On Saturday, December 30th and December 31st, dinner starts with jumbo lump crab stuffed shrimp with a lemon beuree blanc. WiseCrackers Comedy Club is ending 2023 on a hilarious note with two shows at 7:00pm and 10:00pm, headlined by Julia Scotti. Guests may recognize Julia from America’s Got Talent, Showtime’s Funny Women of a Certain Age, and documentary Funny That Way. This comical doubleheader features funnyman and Erie, PA native Mike Stankiewicz and is hosted by Emmy award-winner and published author Scott Bruce. Endless Midnight begins Friday, December 30th, at Rustic Kitchen with two live cooking segments at 5:00pm and 7:30pm. Enjoy an all-inclusive feast of delicious Peppercorn Crusted Filet Mignon, and a juicy Butter Poached Lobster Tail. The night will begin with Jumbo Lump Crab Stuffed Shrimp with Lemon Beurre Blanc. Live entertainment kicks off inside Breakers as The Fuchery hits the stage at 8:30pm for a live performance. Additionally, the new hot-spot at Mohegan PA, the Hive Taphouse will play host to the Hoopla Band Lite as they take the stage for a 9:30pm performance. The all-new Hive Taphouse will host NEPA’s top Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th starting at 8:00pm
Guests are in for a treat when a new Halloween bash hits Mohegan Sun
Pocono (MSP) on Saturday, October 29th from 8:00pm – 10:00pm inside The Hive Taphouse. The Haunt at the Hive will have its own Halloween costume party set to award cash prizes for the best costumes in different categories. The Haunt in the Hive will also feature the popular band, Screaming Broccolli, on the music stage.
For entry into the costume party, guests must be 21+ and register on the Sky Bridge outside of The Hive Taphouse during the event. Contest winners will be announced at 11:00pm. There will be three categories; Scariest, Most Original and new this year, Best Couple or Group costume! The top prize for each category will check in at $300 in cash. From there, 2nd and 3rd place in each category will be awarded $200 and $100 respectively. It’s time for the most enthusiastic Halloween partiers in northeast PA to bring their A-game! The Haunt in the Hive will also feature a drink special, The Zombie – made with Vodka, Midori Lime, Blue Curacao and RumChata.
In addition to a killer costume contest, the rockers by way of Staten Island, NY, Screaming Broccolli, will be on-hand providing live entertainment. Pittston native preforms in the Keystone Grand Ballroom on Sunday, December 12th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 20, 2021) –The“Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular” Holiday Show, starring Shawn Klush backed by The Fabulous Ambassadors makes a trip to Mohegan Sun Pocono this fall! Shawn Klush will grace the main stage on Sunday, December 12th in the Keystone Grand Ballroom with the best sounds of Elvis Presley. This all-ages show kicks off at 3:00pm.
Tickets start at $25 and are on sale Monday, October 25, 2021at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Box Office located at Player’s Club. Guests who purchase their tickets at the Box Office will receive one voucher per ticket for $10.00 in Free Slot Play, valid on Sunday, December 12th. The Closest Thing to the King in Concert was born and raised in the small coal-mining town of Pittston, Pennsylvania, and his love of music led him to begin imitating his musical idol, Elvis Presley. Shawn Klush performed in the Poconos region before embarking on a tour of Canada, where he competed in and won the $5,000.00 prize in the “Worldwide Elvis Competition” in Montreal. This piqued the interest of the award-winning Las Vegas show “Legends in Concert,” where he starred as ‘Elvis’ for many years in their Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Branson, and Atlantic City show rooms. Every January, he performs in the “Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular Birthday Edition Tour,” an extravaganza featuring Elvis’ own musicians, singers, and friends, in major venues across the country.
The Luzerne County native has five CDs to his credit. JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, The Jordanaires, The Imperials, DJ Fontana, and Joe Esposito are among the musicians and singers he has shared the stage with. He played Elvis Presley in the CBS and VH1 hit TV miniseries “Shake, Rattle, and Roll.”
On Elvis’ 70th Birthday, Shawn became grand champion at the $25,000.00 “World Elvis Tribute Artist Competition”. He then received “The Peoples Choice Award” from Gibson Guitar Co in Nashville for “Best Concert Elvis”. Shawn was then named the “World’s Greatest Elvis” by 6.5 million international viewers on BBC1 Television in the United Kingdom. Molly O’Sheas is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with special menu items starting Friday, March 13th through Tuesday, March 17th. In addition to the delicious everyday menu, guests can devour Shepherd’s Pie, Drunken Beef Fries, and Bangers & Mash. Guests can also pair their favorite dish with Molly O’Sheas daily drink specials. On Friday March 13th, Guinness drafts are $3.00 from 7:00pm – Midnight. Saturday from Noon – 7:00pm, 20oz. SBC Goldencold Lager Drafts are $4.00. On Sunday and Monday, 20oz.
