WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 3, 2025) – Mohegan Pennsylvania is turning up the heat as Hot Summer Fun rolls out on Monday, June 23rd, lasting through Sunday, August 31st. Momentum members can enjoy exclusive giveaways with a shot at cash prizes up to $1,000,000. Plenty of Free Slot Play will also be up for grabs along with a chance to win a brand-new Hummer EV Pickup. Additionally, NEPA’s favorite outdoor concert series, Party on the Patio, is set to provide guests with exhilarating live entertainment all summer long!
Guests can take advantage of all Hot Summer Fun 2025 promotions by signing up for Momentum, Mohegan’s rewards program. SUMMER OF HUMMER PROMOTION
Mohegan Pennsylvania will be holding an exclusive Summer of Hummer promotion where one lucky guest will win a brand-new Hummer EV Pickup from Jo-Dan Buick GMC! From Monday, June 23rd through Saturday, August 30th, guests will receive one entry for every Status Point earned; entries will be multiplied by 5X on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10X on Thursdays, and Multiplier Mania could land guests anywhere from 5X – 25X entries each Saturday. The grand prize drawing, which requires guests to activate their entries by playing with their Momentum card each hour, will take place on Sunday, August 30th. From 6:00pm – 9:48pm, two winners will be chosen every 12 minutes to receive $500 Free Slot Play. At 10:00pm, six winners will be chosen where five will receive $1,000 Free Slot Play and one will win a Hummer EV Pickup!
HOT SUMMER FUN DAYS OF THE WEEK
Momentum members can win big or score some sweet deals every day of the week during Hot Summer Fun!
On Play & Eat Sundays, Momentum members who earn at least four Status Points will be able to print a $15 Play and Eat voucher at the kiosk. This voucher will be valid from Sunday through the following Saturday and is redeemable at all dining locations except Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Forever Young Mondays will provide guests 50 years of age or older with $10 Food Credit to use at The Hive Taphouse or Slice’d when they earn at least one Status Point. This voucher will be valid until 11:59pm on the day it is received.
The first 500 Momentum members to earn one Status Point on T-Shirt Tuesdays will receive a commemorative Hot Summer Fun 2025 t-shirt. A new design is featured every week – guests can visit each week to collect all 10! Momentum members can begin earning at 6:00am and print their voucher at any Promotional Kiosk beginning at 3:00pm. Vouchers are available until 500 have been claimed or 7:00pm, whichever happens first. All Momentum members who pick up a shirt can drop their voucher in the drawing barrel. At 7:00pm, 10 winners will be chosen to receive $250 Free Slot Play.
On $100K Boardwalk Bonanza Wednesdays, three Momentum members who are actively playing a slot machine or table game between 3:00pm – 8:00pm will be randomly selected every 20 minutes to play the gameboard for a chance to win from $100 Free Slot Play up to $10,000 Cash! Winner receives a cash prize and emcee bookings at comedy venues across Northeast Pennsylvania
WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 7, 2024) – Calling all comedians! Wise Crackers Comedy Club at Mohegan Pennsylvania is excited to host the first ever NEPA’s Funniest Competition. This competition is open to the public, and those who think they’ve got what it takes can take center stage and battle for the chance to be the first to claim the title of “NEPA’s Funniest”. The comedian who is crowned “NEPA’s Funniest” will receive a $500 cash prize and be booked to emcee at Wise Crackers Comedy Club inside Mohegan Pennsylvania, Emmaus Theatre in Emmaus, PA and Soul Joel’s in Pottstown, PA. Comedians who come in second and third place will also receive cash prizes.
The first round of the competition takes place every Sunday from June 1st through July 20th (excluding July 6th) and each comedian will get one, five-minute set. Those who advance to the second round will get ten minutes to compete in a Sunday slot from July 27th – August 17th. Semi-finalists will have 12 minutes to crack up the crowd on Sunday, July 24th, and the finalists will go head-to-head for the top spot with 15-minute sets on Sunday, September 7th.
Those looking to support the comedians can purchase seats in the audience for $10. The audience will also have the chance to vote in every round except for the finals, where a panel of judges will select the winner.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 26, 2025) – Mohegan Pennsylvania is proud to host the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic as they present Simply the Best: A Tribute to Tina Turner on Saturday, June 7th. Under the baton of Maestra Mélisse Brunet and Scott Coulter’s Spot On Entertainment, this iconic performance honoring one of music’s most legendary superstars starts at 7:30pm in the Keystone Grand Ballroom.
“We’re delighted to welcome NEPA Philharmonic back to Mohegan Pennsylvania for the first time since 2016,” said Tony Carlucci, President & General Manager at Mohegan Pennsylvania. “This partnership is a great match. Performed by a trio of singers, including two-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Tamika Lawrence and Broadway’s Shaleah Adkisson, Simply the Best celebrates the stories and songs that made Tina Turner one of the greatest performers the world has ever known. Guests will get the chance to rock out to classics like “Proud Mary”, “River Deep – Mountain High”, “Private Dancer”, “Better Be Good to Me” and more, including the number one hit, “What’s Love Got to Do With It”.

Now through Wednesday, January 1st, guests can head over to The Hive Taphouse to experience a decked out holiday pop-up takeover that promises to bring the festive spirit to Northeast Pennsylvania. The holiday celebration kicks off with the much-awaited return of Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns on Thanksgiving Eve! From festive food & drink specials to holiday inspired special events, Jingle at The Hive Taphouse has something for everyone. Jingle at the Hive Taphouse is open from 9:00am – 10:00pm on Sundays, Noon – 10:00pm on Mondays – Thursdays, and Noon – 1:00am on Fridays & Saturdays.

On Saturday, December 7th at 7:00pm, Jingle at The Hive Taphouse will feature SantaCon! SantaCon events continue to grow in popularity and allow guests to dress up as Santa and other famous holiday characters – and at Mohegan Pennsylvania those festive costumes will directly compete with one another from 8:00pm – 10:00pm! At 11:00pm, winners of the contest will be announced and a $250 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card will be awarded to the winners of best Santa, Elf and Ugly Sweater costume! Additionally, Leighann & Co. will be providing the live holiday entertainment from 8:30pm – 12:30am! SantaCon is for guests 21 years of age or older and is completely free to attend.
Guests will have an opportunity to compete against one another during Jingle at The Hive Taphouse’s Holiday Hat and Hair Contest! On Saturday, December 14th from 8:00pm – 10:00pm, guests are invited to show up in their best holiday hat or festive hair style and compete for bragging rights and special prizes! The first, second and third place winners in each category will receive a $75 Mohegan Pennsylvania Gift Card, Champagne Brunch at The Hive Taphouse for two, and Top Golf for two, respectively. Winners will be announced at 10:30pm.
On Sunday, December 15th, The Hive Taphouse will provide fun for the whole family as Brunch with Santa is set to take place from 9:00am – Noon. Throughout the brunch, guests will be able to meet and take photos with Santa! The Hive Taphouse’s revamped Champagne Brunch Buffet features fresh made-to-order eggs and omelets, a sweet assortment of pastries and muffins, soups and salads, a rotating selection of your favorite chicken, beef and seafood dishes, and a mimosa or glass of champagne with $5 refills for adult guests. Kids under 3 are free! Guests under the age of 21 must enter through the Racing entrance adjacent to parking lot A and always be accompanied by an adult.
On Saturday, December 21st, guests will have another opportunity to compete against one another during Jingle at The Hive Taphouse’s Holiday Beard and Mustache Contest! From 8:00pm – 10:00pm, guests are invited to show up with their best holiday beard or mustache and compete for bragging rights and special prizes! The first, second and third place winners in each category will receive a $75 Mohegan Pennsylvania Gift Card, Champagne Brunch at The Hive Taphouse for two, and Top Golf for two, respectively. Winners will be announced at 10:30pm.
Additionally, trivia and karaoke continue on Fridays with special holiday themes! On Fridays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th beginning at 7:30pm at Jingle at the Hive Taphouse, guests can take part in Holiday Trivia Nights with DJ Tommy where the top three teams will win a Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card!
