Performance is open to guests of all ages
WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 26, 2025) – Mohegan Pennsylvania is proud to host the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic as they present Simply the Best: A Tribute to Tina Turner on Saturday, June 7th. Under the baton of Maestra Mélisse Brunet and Scott Coulter’s Spot On Entertainment, this iconic performance honoring one of music’s most legendary superstars starts at 7:30pm in the Keystone Grand Ballroom.
“We’re delighted to welcome NEPA Philharmonic back to Mohegan Pennsylvania for the first time since 2016,” said Tony Carlucci, President & General Manager at Mohegan Pennsylvania. “This partnership is a great match. Their mission statement for this concert season references building bridges, which we can relate to because we’re also dedicated to building bridges with our local community. Our guests are in for a treat as this trio of incredible talent will perform some of the greatest hits in music history.”
Tickets to Simply the Best: A Tribute to Tina Turner are on sale now via the NEPA Philharmonic website or the Philharmonic Ticket Hotline at 570.270.4444. Will Call, located at the entrance of the Convention Center, opens at 6:00pm and the pre-function space (including a cash bar) opens at 6:30pm. Doors to the Keystone Grand Ballroom open at 7:00pm.
Performed by a trio of singers, including two-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Tamika Lawrence and Broadway’s Shaleah Adkisson, Simply the Best celebrates the stories and songs that made Tina Turner one of the greatest performers the world has ever known. Guests will get the chance to rock out to classics like “Proud Mary”, “River Deep – Mountain High”, “Private Dancer”, “Better Be Good to Me” and more, including the number one hit, “What’s Love Got to Do With It”.

This is an all-ages show, however, most areas of Mohegan Pennsylvania are 21+ including the hotel, casino floor and most restaurants. All guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult, enter via the hotel and convention center entrance and proceed directly to the Keystone Grand Ballroom.

Eclectic festival featuring live entertainment and cultural experiences takes over the Keystone Grand Ballroom
on Saturday, April 5th

After resounding success over the past two years, the 2025 Pennsylvania Polkafest, sponsored by Mrs. T’s Pierogies and The Times Leader, makes its debut in the Keystone Grand Ballroom on Saturday, April 5th. This event promises to be an evening of vibrant music, energetic dancing, unforgettable performances and generational memories. Doors open at 3:30pm and the party starts at 4:00pm. WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 13, 2025) – Former New York City cab driver turned TV host, radio host, and New York Times best-selling author Jimmy Failla and political commentator Lisa Kennedy Montgomery (Kennedy) are set to bring A Night of Laughs and Liberty to the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 19th. Doors for this comedic masterpiece open at 7:00pm and the laughs begin at 8:00pm. Jimmy Failla hosts Fox News Saturday Night and appears regularly on all the biggest Fox News shows including Gutfeld, Watters World, Hannity, and The Ingraham Angle. Kennedy joined Fox Business Network (FBN) as a contributor in 2012 and most recently hosted the primetime program Kennedy. One Christmas Night in Memphis has the same cast and creator behind the number one booked and critically acclaimed show, One Night in Memphis, but with additional festive holiday classic songs to get even the Grinch in the mood! Imagine Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis gathered around some yuletide and singing their legendary hit songs but also merrily singing everyone’s favorite holiday songs, including but not limited to “Jingle Bell Rock,” “White Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Run, Run, Rudolph,” “Blue Christmas,” and many more all performed live with an authentic Rockabilly band. Throughout the show, guests can expect 90 minutes of Rockabilly, Country, Gospel and 1950’s Rock and Roll mixed in with some festive holiday classics and presented in a holly, jolly fashion!

WHAT: Mohegan Pennsylvania is hosting a special contestant search for renowned CBS game show, The Price is Right!
WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday, October 9th

IN DETAIL: On Wednesday, October 9th, guests at Mohegan Pennsylvania will get the chance to tell producers why they should be selected to be on one of the most beloved game shows in the country. Two lucky semi-finalists will be selected and travel to Los Angeles. The winner will be called to “Come on Down!” and play the game on national television!
The Price is Right Contestant Search is open to guests ages 18 and older. All participants must be 18 years of age at the time of the application and a legal resident of the United States who currently resides in the states/Washington D.C. at the time of the application. Parking at Mohegan Pennsylvania for guests under 21 years of age is located at the hotel lobby entrance in Lot B or Lot C.
All auditions are recorded and provided to The Price is Right producers for consideration. Guests are encouraged to dress to impress! Solid colors appear best on TV, so all participants should wear what they would wear on the show.
