The all-new Hive Taphouse will host NEPA’s top Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th starting at 8:00pm
Guests are in for a treat when a new Halloween bash hits Mohegan Sun
Pocono (MSP) on Saturday, October 29th from 8:00pm – 10:00pm inside The Hive Taphouse. The Haunt at the Hive will have its own Halloween costume party set to award cash prizes for the best costumes in different categories. The Haunt in the Hive will also feature the popular band, Screaming Broccolli, on the music stage.
For entry into the costume party, guests must be 21+ and register on the Sky Bridge outside of The Hive Taphouse during the event. Contest winners will be announced at 11:00pm. There will be three categories; Scariest, Most Original and new this year, Best Couple or Group costume! The top prize for each category will check in at $300 in cash. From there, 2nd and 3rd place in each category will be awarded $200 and $100 respectively. It’s time for the most enthusiastic Halloween partiers in northeast PA to bring their A-game! The Haunt in the Hive will also feature a drink special, The Zombie – made with Vodka, Midori Lime, Blue Curacao and RumChata.
In addition to a killer costume contest, the rockers by way of Staten Island, NY, Screaming Broccolli, will be on-hand providing live entertainment. Led by long-time front man Michael Laughlin, Screaming Broccolli has played across the northeast and east coast, and was named by SiLive.com “Best of Staten Island” for being the region’s best cover band. Pittston native preforms in the Keystone Grand Ballroom on Sunday, December 12th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 20, 2021) –The“Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular” Holiday Show, starring Shawn Klush backed by The Fabulous Ambassadors makes a trip to Mohegan Sun Pocono this fall! Shawn Klush will grace the main stage on Sunday, December 12th in the Keystone Grand Ballroom with the best sounds of Elvis Presley. This all-ages show kicks off at 3:00pm.
Tickets start at $25 and are on sale Monday, October 25, 2021at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Box Office located at Player’s Club. The Closest Thing to the King in Concert was born and raised in the small coal-mining town of Pittston, Pennsylvania, and his love of music led him to begin imitating his musical idol, Elvis Presley. Shawn Klush performed in the Poconos region before embarking on a tour of Canada, where he competed in and won the $5,000.00 prize in the “Worldwide Elvis Competition” in Montreal. This piqued the interest of the award-winning Las Vegas show “Legends in Concert,” where he starred as ‘Elvis’ for many years in their Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Branson, and Atlantic City show rooms. Every January, he performs in the “Elvis Tribute Artist Spectacular Birthday Edition Tour,” an extravaganza featuring Elvis’ own musicians, singers, and friends, in major venues across the country.
The Luzerne County native has five CDs to his credit. JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, The Jordanaires, The Imperials, DJ Fontana, and Joe Esposito are among the musicians and singers he has shared the stage with. He played Elvis Presley in the CBS and VH1 hit TV miniseries “Shake, Rattle, and Roll.”
On Elvis’ 70th Birthday, Shawn became grand champion at the $25,000.00 “World Elvis Tribute Artist Competition”. He then received “The Peoples Choice Award” from Gibson Guitar Co in Nashville for “Best Concert Elvis”. Shawn was then named the “World’s Greatest Elvis” by 6.5 million international viewers on BBC1 Television in the United Kingdom. On the 30th anniversary of Elvis’ passing, Klush was named the ‘First Ever’ “Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” by Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis TN. Shawn has record breaking performances in the US, Switzerland, Canada Australia, the UK and South America. He was named “Worldwide Ambassador of Elvis” at the Las Vegas Hilton where he headlines the annual the Las Vegas Elvis Fest, celebrating Elvis’ historic Las Vegas Performances.

Molly O’Sheas is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with special menu items starting Friday, March 13th through Tuesday, March 17th. At the Ultimate Retro Dance Party, guests can boogie on over to the dance floor at the Keystone Grand Ballroom until the clock strikes midnight, while enjoying drink specials, live entertainment and some nostalgic music videos. Plus, snap a picture of Prince or grab a selfie with Cher, Elton John or Freddie Mercury as a star-studded list of impersonators perform throughout the night.
The cover charge for this event is $10.00 and may be paid in advance at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Box Office located at Player’s Club or via ticketmaster.com starting Friday, November 8th. Cover can also be paid at the door the night of the event. All guests must be 21+ to attend, valid photo identification is required for entry.

Merry Christmas Darling: Carpenters’ Christmas is a holiday show that celebrates the classic Carpenters’ Christmas recordings with an equal complement of their biggest pop music hits. The Carpenters have released two classic Christmas albums, as well as two Christmas-themed television specials. Their holiday music is played every season and their Christmas records still top “Favorite Holiday Album” lists every year. Michelle Berting Brett takes center stage with her Nashville band directed by Harry Sharpe. WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 13, 2019) – It’s St. Patrick’s Day at Mohegan Sun Pocono and Molly O’Sheas is the home base for all things green and gold. The Irish Pub & Eatery is offering specials and live entertainment from Friday, March 15th to Sunday, March 17th.
Food specials feature a variety of Irish-inspired classics:
- Drunken Beef Fries – whiskey-braised beef topped with waffle fries and slathered in sharp cheese sauce
- Smashed Red Bliss Potato Dippers – whole red bliss potatoes smashed and fried to perfection with a duo of dipping sauces
- Corned Beef and Rumbledethumps – chunked corned beef served with a casserole of potato, onion, and cabbage, topped with melted cheese accompanies with grain mustard
- Guinness Fish and Chips – Guinness-battered fried fish served with waffle fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce
Molly O’Sheas is also welcoming the return of the Reuben Challenge. Order a 4lb Reuben (valued at $29.99) and if it’s eaten in 60 minutes or less, the Reuben is free. Those who complete the challenge also receive a free t-shirt.
