WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 8, 2024) – Allied Services is thrilled to announce the public kick-off of the 2024 Team Allied Services & You fundraising campaign, in partnership with Mohegan Pennsylvania, who have been a major sponsor for 15 years. The campaign launch will be celebrated at Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Party on the Patio event on Thursday, August 15th. The celebration will begin at 4:00pm with a live broadcast by WNEP TV’s Chelsea Strub, who will introduce viewers to members of the fundraising and marathon team. Doors open at 6:00pm for the free 21-and-over concert, with live music from Parrot Beach, a Jimmy Buffett tribute, starting at 7:30pm. Official Team Allied Services exercise shirts and wristbands will be available for sale and volunteers will be collecting donations.
“What makes Mohegan Pennsylvania so special as part of Team Allied Services is that in addition to hosting our campaign launch, they always have a team member that raises additional funds, trains for the marathon, and makes the trip to New York City to run the marathon in November,” – said Charlotte Wright, Assistant VP of Marketing & Development. “It has been a tremendous partnership with Mohegan Pennsylvania, and we’re thrilled to again kick our fundraising season off at Party on the Patio on August 15th!”
Team Allied Services & You is an annual charity campaign designed to inspire fitness, challenge disability, and change lives. The months-long campaign culminates with a dedicated team of 68 volunteers participating in the prestigious TCS New York City Marathon on November 3rd, 2024. Proceeds from the campaign will benefit children with disabilities at the Allied Services John P. Moses Esq. Pediatric Rehab Centers in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania. Donations will help the non-profit health system extend specialized rehabilitation services to more underinsured children with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illnesses.
For each of the 15 years that Mohegan Pennsylvania has been a major sponsor, at least one team member has represented Mohegan Pennsylvania (or its parent company, Mohegan) as a fundraiser and a marathon runner. This year is no exception, with Jason Bohenek, Internal Audit Manager of the Mohegan Tribe, and Jennifer Ducharme, Director of Events at Mohegan Pennsylvania, participating. All funds raised this year will be allocated to pediatric services within Allied Services.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 23, 2024) – This year marks the 15th anniversary of Northeast Pennsylvania’s iconic outdoor concert series, Party on the Patio and to mark the occasion, Mohegan Pennsylvania and Runaway Train Brewery have collaborated on the special Party On The Patio Lager with Lime’ craft beer. The ultra refreshing, super drinkable malt beverage was brewed by Northeast Pennsylvania’s very own, Runaway Train Brewery, based in Honesdale.
“This craft beer was the result of hours of collaboration, planning and taste testing” said Vince Benedetto, a Managing Partner of Runaway Train. “Our Brew Master, Charles Mills, took great care to create a delicious beverage that would pair perfectly with the Party On The Patio experience. Everything, from the locally sourced premium ingredients to the can artwork, are designed to capture the incredible vibe and energy of the Mohegan Pennsylvania outdoor concert environment.”
Mohegan Pennsylvania and Runaway Train Brewery will debut the Party On The Patio Lager with Lime at a special launch party on Saturday, April 27th, from 2:00pm – 4:30pm at Embers Terrace. The event is for ages 21+ and is open to the public. Thereafter, the Party On The Patio Lager with Lime beer will be available in cans and on draft at all Party On The Patio events this spring and summer, and on tap throughout Mohegan Pennsylvania.
The Party On The Patio Lager with Lime is an American lager style at 4.8% ABV with a hint of lime. The beer is brewed with a base malt only purchased from Pennsylvania farmers. Small portions of specialty malts are added to lighten the body and create a wonderfully smooth drinking experience. After fermentation, a touch of lime is added while in the conditioning tanks to make a delightfully refreshing and satisfying brew.
The 15th year of Party On The Patio will be its biggest to date. The legendary outdoor concert series will kick off on Thursday evening, May 2nd and continue over twenty-two weeks with twenty-three bands performing Featured acts for this year’s lineup include Stayin’ Alive, A Tribute to The Bee Gees, on May 2nd; KISS Army on May 9th; Best of the Eagles on May 23rd; Nightrain – A Tribute to Guns N’ Roses on May 30th and plenty more! NEPA’s favorite outdoor concert series runs from May 2nd – September 26th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 14, 2023) – Fifteen years and still rockin’! Mohegan Pennsylvania is excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their iconic outdoor concert series, Party on the Patio. This year’s series is like no other, with 23 bands taking the stage over the course of 22 weeks. The first week kicks off on Thursday, May 2nd, with Stayin’ Alive bringing the best of the BeeGees. Philadelphia Freedom (a tribute to Elton John) also takes the stage during week one for a special Derby Day edition of Party on the Patio on Saturday, May 4th. Local fan favorites Bon Poison (a tribute to Bon Jovi and Poison) and Idol Kings (a tribute to Reo Speedwagon and Journey) return to the lineup while new acts like KISS Army (a tribute to KISS), Nightrain (a tribute to Guns N’ Roses), The Faithfull (a tribute to Pearl Jam) and more make their Party on the Patio debut. Doors open at 6:30pm and the bands start rockin’ at 7:30pm. There is no cover to attend Party on the Patio.

Classic Skynyrd Live, a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, to perform free show on Thursday, September 21st
WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 31, 2023) – Due to popular demand, NEPA’s favorite outdoor concert series, Party on the Patio, has been extended for an additional week! Classic Skynyrd Live is set to bring the best of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the outdoor concert venue at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Thursday, September 21st. Delicious bites will be provided by Ray’s Porketta. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. There is no cover for this special added Party on the Patio event.
Lynyrd Skynyrd was the band that defined Southern Rock in the 1970’s and built a fan base that continues to grow today. Classic Skynyrd Live, performed by Southern Steel, pays tribute to this iconic band and the music that continues to be loved by generation after generation of fans. This show delivers an unrivaled level of energy, generating standing ovations and calls for encores time after time. Classic Skynyrd Live performs all the fan favorites, including “Free Bird”, “Simple Man”, “That Smell”, “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Gimme Three Steps”, “Call Me the Breeze”, “I Know a Little” and so many more.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 11, 2023) – Allied Services, a leading provider of healthcare and human services for northeastern Pennsylvanians with disabilities and chronic illnesses, is hosting their Annual Campaign Kick-Off Celebration on Thursday, August 10th during Party on the Patio at Mohegan Pennsylvania. At this special edition of Party on the Patio, guests will be able to stop by the Team Allied Services tent to donate, purchase an official team exercise t-shirt and learn more about Allied Services. Guests can also feast on delicious bites by Eat Up Now while dancing the night away to the best of the 80’s, courtesy of tribute band RUBIX KUBE. There is no cover to attend this celebration, and all guests must be 21+.

On Sunday, November 5th, Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Director of Events, Jennifer Ducharme, will also be joining Team Allied Services for the TCS New York City Marathon – a 26.2-mile journey starting in Staten Island, working its way through all five boroughs in New York City and finishing in Central Park. Team Allied Services is currently accepting online donations for the 2023 fundraising campaign.
