WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 25, 2024) – The Hive Taphouse, located at Mohegan Pennsylvania, is set to provide guests with a brand-new Sunday brunch option featuring mouthwatering bites, a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar and specialty crafted mocktails and cocktails. Guests can select a breakfast entrée and pair it with an array of seasonal pastries, pasta, salad, soup, fruit and chef’s features from the brunch bar for $19.99 per person. Brunch and Brew at The Hive Taphouse is available every Sunday from 11:00am – 2:00pm.
Brunch and Brew at The Hive Taphouse offers a wide range of breakfast entrées for guests to choose from. Those in the mood for french toast can enjoy three slices of Texas Toast in house-made egg batter served with butter, maple syrup and a choice of bacon or sausage. Guests looking for some Mexican flair can indulge in Morning Tacos, consisting of three soft tacos filled with scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and cheddar jack cheese with salsa and sour cream on the side; or a breakfast quesadilla featuring scrambled eggs, roasted onions and peppers, cheddar jack cheese and pico de gallo on a grilled tortilla with salsa and sour cream on the side. Chicken & Biscuit fans are in luck, as Brunch and Brew at The Hive Taphouse is serving up a version that includes breaded fried chicken with a sunny side up egg on a buttermilk biscuit, topped with creamy pepper gravy. Additional breakfast entrée options include classic two eggs any style, ham & cheese omelette, Western omelette, veggie omelette, avocado toast and a breakfast flatbread.
Guests looking to complement their entrée with a beverage can choose from a selection of specialty crafted mocktails and cocktails. Mocktails include a Cucumber Lime Mint Refresher, an Orange & Vanilla Refresher and a Raspberry Peach Refresher. On the spiked side of things, options include a Hive Bloody Mary, build your own loaded bloody mary, classic mimosa, mimosa flights, Raspberry Peach Bellini, an Espresso Martini, an Irish Coffee or spiked coffee. Additionally, Brunch and Brew at The Hive Taphouse offers two breakfast beer options: Allen’s Coffee Breakfast Stout and Dunkin’ Spiked Original Iced Coffee.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 27, 2024) – The Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Pennsylvania is set to play host to the popular murder mystery event, “A Dundie Demise: An Office Whodunit,” on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th. Things are about to go down at the annual Dundie Awards, and attendees will be tasked with listening closely, gathering clues and trying to deduce who the killer is. Solve the crime, win the prize! On Saturday, June 15th, there will be two shows, one at 5:00pm and the other at 8:00pm. The show on Sunday, June 16th starts at 2:00pm. Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of each show. Tickets are on-sale now for $35.00, and available online through Without A Cue Productions. Tickets will not be available for purchase at Mohegan Pennsylvania.
There will be several opportunities to take selfies with the characters (and a fun race to see who can get them all first), hidden clues, and even an opportunity to get a mugshot taken. Once the performance begins, guests will become part of the action as they play detective and try to solve the mystery.

PA’s premier Gaming & Entertainment Destination also re-opens Spa Sapphire; and Wise Crackers Comedy Club has a new Location
WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 7, 2024) – Last year Mohegan Pennsylvania embarked on a $10 million refresh to its hotel with the aim of refreshing and updating all 238-rooms and suites. That goal was achieved this fall with the completion of the final stage of this major renovation known as “Project Starlight,” which also saw enhancements and new openings across the resort.
“As can be seen from the new images on MoheganPA.com and for anyone who has stayed with us recently, the look & feel of our renovated hotel rooms is exceptional,” -said Tony Carlucci, President & GM of Mohegan PA. “Along with our partner Daroff Design, we set out to create a fresher and more contemporary atmosphere with upgraded amenities and we’re thrilled with the results. Every detail was considered during this project, and we’re delighted with the new hotel experience that has already generated great feedback from guests!”
This major project on the Mohegan Pennsylvania Hotel included a complete renovation to all guests rooms. This meant that brand new bathrooms, more comfortable beds and upgraded workspaces were key areas of improvement. Enhanced WiFi and new smart TVs with bill review and check out accessibility are also now featured at the hotel. There are also 20 luxurious suites which offer more space and additional rooms. The design concept for the project also drew inspiration from the incredible topography, landscape, natural resources and personality of the Susquehanna River Valley. Daroff Design brought this to life; marrying it to enhanced functionality for guests, which not only creates a beautiful room for guests, but meets their needs and comforts as well.

The first major enhancements that opened as part of Project Starlight occurred just ahead of summer 2022 when Mohegan PA launched The Hive Taphouse (which is also home to Top Golf Swing Suites) and the outdoor attraction, Embers Terrace at Hive. The Hive Taphouse features Trivia and Karoke on Fridays and a rotation of incredible local music acts every Saturday including The Fuchery on February 10th, Down and Jay Orrell Duo on February 17th. The Hive is home to 20+ beers on tap and a full menu that serves up “Taco Tuesdays” with half-off tacos and “Burger Wednesdays” with half-off burgers. In addition to the variety of IPAs, stouts and Ale’s, The Hive is home to tasty hard ciders as well.
