Breakers to feature the best tribute bands on the first Saturday of every month through June, with Dean Ford kicking things off!
One of the top touring tribute acts around are making their way to Mohegan Sun
Pocono. Dean Ford, whose resemblance and performance in tribute of the late Pop superstar, Prince, is arguably unmatched, will be on stage with his band, The Beautiful Ones, for a free show inside Breakers at Mohegan Sun Pocono on Saturday, January 5th. This show kicks-off live entertainment at Breakers that will play host to incredible tribute bands well into the New Year!
The Beautiful Ones are the first of what will be a regular tribute band lineup at Breakers, one of the best live music bars in PA, the first Saturday of every month through June 2019, with shows starting around 9:30pm, with no cover. Throwback Thursdays will take place in Breakers throughout June & Party on the Patio is Back For July & August
WILKES-BARRE, PA (May 17, 2018) – It is almost time for live tribute bands to perform at Mohegan Sun Pocono for 13 weeks bringing hot entertainment all season long. Enjoy Throwback Thursdays in Breakers throughout the month of June and beginning in July, guests can head to The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono as Party on the Patio returns, taking place every Thursday from July 5th to August 30th.
Throwback Thursdays will have you dancing and singing along as tribute bands perform live at Breakers every Thursday in June beginning at 7:00pm. This year, tickets are available with a $10.00 donation at the box office, located at Player’s Club starting on Monday, May 21st at 8:00am. All ticket donations will benefit WNEP’s Ryan’s Run 9, an organization “Inspiring fitness. Challenging disability. Changing Lives.” that supports the work of Allied Services: making miracles in rehab, helping people regain health and independence after an injury, improving quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s or recovering from a stroke, empowering children to overcome a learning disability and much more.

Call for entries now through January 29th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 7, 2015) – Does your band have what it takes to
reign supreme? Mohegan Sun Pocono wants to know! The sixth annual Battle of the Bands competition kicks off on Thursday, March 17th at Breakers, and starting now Mohegan Sun Pocono is looking for the best bands in NEPA to compete!
Don’t wait! Now through January 29th, interested bands can submit an entry to be crowned this year’s winner, and for the chance to win cash prizes at the grand finale on May 26, 2016, including the $10,000 grand prize!
To express interest in competing in this popular event, bands must submit the following no later than 5:00pm on Friday, January 29, 2016. 32 bands will be selected and notified no later than Monday, February 29th.
- Demo CD, EPK, website and/or flash drive containing no more than three songs. This should be as close as possible to proposed live performance; cover music preferred. Please note in writing with submission if there are overdubbed parts or guest artists who will not be part of the competition.
- Recent photo with names and instrumentation of all players, and an input list (preferably in digital format)
- Current song list and proposed 30-minute set list for the competition
- List of any Thursday evenings during the competition (March 17th through May 26th) that band would not be available between 7pm and Midnight
- Contact information, including email address and daytime phone number
- Verification that all band members are 21 years of age or older
