On November 27th, guests can enjoy scrumptious Thanksgiving meals at several restaurants
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be serving up delicious fall-inspired meals this Thanksgiving at two of their most popular dining outlets, Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar and Timbers Buffet. From traditional roast turkey to ricotta-filled raviolis with pumpkin & sage cream sauce, this Thanksgiving is sure to be a hit for all ages to gobble up at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar will start Thanksgiving diners off with Butternut Squash & Apple Soup with spiced crème fraîche and pepitas (toasted pumpkin seeds) for $8.00 or a Ginger Pear Salad with baby greens tossed with a ginger pear dressing with pear slices, toasted walnuts & gorgonzola cheese for $12.00. For entrées, guests can choose between a Roasted Turkey Breast served with cranberry sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, cranberry relish & apple sage gravy for $23.00 or Pumpkin Ravioli served with house made ravioli stuffed with pumpkin & mascarpone cheese with gorgonzola sage cream sauce for $21.00. And to top off this delicious meal, Pumpkin Pie or Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cheesecake will be served for dessert.
Over at Timbers Buffet, a special Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11:00am to 8:00pm, $21.99 for adults and $11.99 for children 10 and under. WILKES-BARRE, PA – Double down at each Tuesday this summer at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs with Table Tuesdays featuring special Blackjack Tournaments, Tables 101 and more.
Each Tuesday in June, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be giving guests the opportunity to learn the various games with Tables 101 such as Blackjack, Craps and Roulette. Sessions run from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Please visit mohegansun.com/hsf for specific schedules.
In July and August, guests can come test their new skills with Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs’ $25.00 buy-in Blackjack tournament. The first round sessions will be held each Tuesday at 6:00pm, 7:00pm and 8:00pm. The top 12 scorers from each session will advance into the semi-finals. Top scorers from each table in the semi-finals will then advance into the final. Each participant in the finals will win a cash prize. Prize amounts are based on number of Buy-Ins and may vary.
Dining specials and happy hour deals are available at a number of locations throughout June including Bar Louie, Ben & Jerry’s, Johnny Rockets, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Wolfgang Puck.
In August, guests can also try their luck at Ace in the Hole. Each Tuesday, each hour between Noon and 8:00pm, two winners will have a chance to select one of five jumbo playing cards. Winners will be awarded various amounts dependent on the card pulled.

In June, guest can also Beat The Heat Hot Seat. From Noon to 8:00pm, once per hour one lucky slot or table player will receive $100 cash by actively playing. If the winner is playing a slot machine, everyone who is playing on the same slot bank will also receive $50 in free slot play. If the winner is playing a table game, everyone at the same table will receive a match play voucher of their choice up to $100.

Fore! This summer at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, guests can Putt for Dough for their chance to win $100,000 cash! Each Saturday in June and August from Noon to 8:00pm, three winners will be selected per hour to test their putting skills. Guests who make four putts in a row from various distances will win $100,000 cash!
Dining specials and happy hour deals are available at a number of locations throughout June including Bar Louie, Ben & Jerry’s, Johnny Rockets and Wolfgang Puck Express.
In July, guests will have their chance to show their best basketball moves with Mohegan Hot Shot. Similar to the Dueling Cash Cubes, two guests per hour from Noon to 8:00pm will randomly be selected to shot as many mini basketballs into the hoop as possible. The higher the score, the higher the prize. The winner will also walk away with an extra $100 cash.
Guests can also enjoy Slot Sundays – where every Sunday throughout the summer, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be hosting slot tournaments from Noon to 4:00pm and 5:00pm to 9:00pm with 16 sessions to choose from. The top three finishers in each session will receive a free slot play prize. A guaranteed prize pool of $1,600 cash will also be awarded to the top five.
