On November 27th, guests can enjoy scrumptious Thanksgiving meals at several restaurants
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be serving up delicious fall-inspired meals this Thanksgiving at two of their most popular dining outlets, Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar and Timbers Buffet. From traditional roast turkey to ricotta-filled raviolis with pumpkin & sage cream sauce, this Thanksgiving is sure to be a hit for all ages to gobble up at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
Rustic Kitchen Bistro & Bar will start Thanksgiving diners off with Butternut Squash & Apple Soup with spiced crème fraîche and pepitas (toasted pumpkin seeds) for $8.00 or a Ginger Pear Salad with baby greens tossed with a ginger pear dressing with pear slices, toasted walnuts & gorgonzola cheese for $12.00. For entrées, guests can choose between a Roasted Turkey Breast served with cranberry sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, cranberry relish & apple sage gravy for $23.00 or Pumpkin Ravioli served with house made ravioli stuffed with pumpkin & mascarpone cheese with gorgonzola sage cream sauce for $21.00. And to top off this delicious meal, Pumpkin Pie or Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cheesecake will be served for dessert.
Over at Timbers Buffet, a special Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11:00am to 8:00pm, $21.99 for adults and $11.99 for children 10 and under.
