Artist Shawn Klush and the Sweet Inspirations hit Mohegan Sun Pocono on August 27th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 12, 2017) – Elvis Tribute Artist Shawn Klush and Elvis’ own Sweet Inspirations, in honor of Elvis’ 40th Anniversary, will be bringing their exciting live performance to Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Keystone Grand Ballroom on Saturday, August 26th at 8:00pm and Sunday, August 27th at 4:00pm. Klush, known as the “World’s Greatest Elvis” voted by 6.5 million international viewers, will be backed by Elvis’s own backup singers, The Sweet Inspirations and the Ambassadors of Elvis Band.
Tickets start at $29.00 and will go on sale on Friday, June 16th through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may purchase tickets by logging on to ticketmaster.com or calling Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number at 1.800.745.3000. Tickets will also be available for purchase, free of service fees, at the Mohegan Sun Pocono Box Office. Limited cash tickets will be available for the Saturday, August 26th show.
Klush’s love for music led him to begin imitating his musical idol, Elvis Presley; making his performances recognized worldwide for his distinguished Elvis impersonation, including his sultry looks, vocal accuracy and swaying hips, and has long performed alongside Elvis’s closest friends, musicians and backup singers. After starting his performing career, Shawn Klush has received numerous awards and honors for his performances, including “First Ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” by Elvis Presley Enterprises, “Best Concert Elvis” by Gibson Guitar, a featured performer on the Late Show with David Letterman, and starred as Elvis in the Legends in Concert shows in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
Shawn has released four CDs and CD singles. Shawn recently sold out a 15 city tour of Australia and has record-breaking performances in the U.S., Australia, Switzerland, Canada, the U.K. and South America. He was named “Worldwide Ambassador of Elvis” at the Las Vegas Hilton celebrating Elvis’ historic Las Vegas performances. Pennsylvania’s largest Oktoberfest returns for another weekend full of fun at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The PA Oktoberfest kicks off on Friday, September 16th and continues through Sunday, September 18th for three days of beer, food, music, wiener dog racing and more! Sponsored by Times-Shamrock Communications, the event will be held on the race track apron at Mohegan Sun Pocono. Admission is $5.00 and advanced tickets will go on sale Friday, August 19th at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and any Shur Save location, with buy one, get one free admission!

One of the top 10 Oktoberfest celebrations in the nation, the widely popular PA Oktoberfest returns to Mohegan Sun Pocono with more than 50 beer selections, award-winning traditional entertainers, local bands, authentic German-American cuisine, wiener dog racing, strong arm contests and more. This year’s festival is back with new activities and entertainment, making it the best celebration yet! Live entertainment at this year’s PA Oktoberfest will include John Stevens’ Doubleshot Polka and a crowd favorite, Romy – from Munich Germany. Known for playing the traditional Alphorn, the Alpine Horns will also be performing at this year’s festival.
Other highlights this year include Special Keg Tapping Ceremonies on Friday, September 16th
at 4:30pm, 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Then on Sunday, September 18th, the 2nd
Annual Lederhosen 5k will begin at 12:00pm. Guests can register for this event in advance or at the event, starting at 11:00am through 11:45am. The Lederhosen 5k will take participants around the Pocono race track and through the surrounding trails. $10.00 registration fee includes race entry and all-day admission to PA Oktoberfest. Okto-mugs will also be handed out at the finish line to all who participate in the Lederhosen 5K.

Join Mohegan Sun Pocono for a free Signings & Sightings event on Saturday, January 16th with former Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook. One of the most electrifying all-purpose weapons in the NFL over the past decade, Westbrook spent nine successful professional seasons in the NFL and was one of the most prolific running backs in Philadelphia Eagles history.
This is a wristband-only event. The first 150 people to line up on the Sky Bridge beginning at 5:00pm will receive a wristband and wristbands must be worn in order to gain entrance into this event. One of comedy’s biggest stars and a Philadelphia native, Hart most recently starred opposite Will Ferrell in Warner Brothers Pictures’ Get Hard. Early birds can start the revelry early at Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration, where it’s Midnight somewhere! Enjoy a countdown at Noon, along with a complimentary apple cider toast, party hats and noisemakers on the casino floor. Everyone age 21 and over is welcome to join the fun.
Play all day, then party all night! Spend the day at your favorite slot or table game and play $201,600 Party Fever. From 6:00am to 8:00pm, with each Status Point earned, receive a scratch card for the chance to win up to $201,600!
