WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 29, 2019) – Get ready for March Bagness! Take part in one of the biggest Cornhole Tournaments in Northeastern Pennsylvania when NEPA Cornhole comes to Mohegan Sun Pocono on Saturday, March 16th. With $5,000 in guaranteed payouts, competition is sure to be fierce! Featuring three different Divisions for Advanced players, Competitive and Social, any skill level can play and win, from beginners to the most experienced, all inside the Keystone Grand Ballroom. Enjoy a Double Elimination tournament in a fun party atmosphere with state-of-art computerized brackets, all displayed on large screens. Do you think you have what it takes to be the last team standing? Tickets for the event can be purchased online prior to the event for $60.00 per team of two. Walk-ins are welcome, day of tickets can be purchased at the event for $80.00 per team of two. Registration for all participants begins at 11:00am. The tournament kicks-off at 1:00pm. NEPA Cornhole will be running the tournament on all professional, regulation boards. American Cornhole League rules will be followed.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 4, 2018) – Magician/Comedian Justin Willman is performing live in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Sun Pocono on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:00pm.

This summer, Willman premiered his six-episode magic series on Netflix entitled Magic For Humans with Justin Willman. In the series, Willman brings his skills as a magician to the strange and misunderstood subcultures of America, while incorporating his disarming demeanor into street magic and social experiments that will boggle the mind. Upon premiering, the show instantly became one of the most streamed shows on Netflix with clips from the show garnering over 300 million views to date across social media, even sparking a viral meme. Indiewire called Willman the “perfect magician/hybrid prototype with incredible comedic timing,” and Rotten Tomatoes currently has the show listed at an 88% audience approval.
The L.A. Times exclaimed that Willman is, “A new breed of magician who’s making magic cool again for grown-ups.” Playboy Magazine dubbed him, “The freshest and funniest magician working today,” and Time Out hailed that his show, “Has to be seen to be disbelieved.”
Prior to Magic for Humans, Willman was known for his multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, Ellen, and Conan. He also performed live at the White House for the Obama Family as well. His debut comedy/magic special Sleight of Mouth premiered on Comedy Central in 2015 to rave reviews.
Willman is also a consultant & writer for film/television productions like America’s Got Talent, The Goldbergs, and Disney’s upcoming feature film Magic Camp.

Legendary hip-hop artist, DJ Biz Markie, DJ’s Mohegan Sun Pocono’s 2018 Halloween Boo Bash; $5,000 Is Up For Grabs For Best Costumes
WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 17, 2018) – Taking place on Friday, October 26th, from 8:00pm – Midnight, Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Keystone Grand Ballroom will be home to the 2018 Boo Bash, with DJ Biz Markie in the DJ booth and a $1,000 grand prize up for grabs in the Boo Bash costume party! $5,000 total in cash prizes will be divvied out to the best costumes at the party with winners announced at 11:00pm. This is a free event for guests who are 21 and over!

The legendary DJ Biz Markie brings more than 30 years of hip-hop acumen and 
an overwhelming fan-base that stretches from New York City to Japan to Europe. At the age of 14, Marcel Hall dazzled his neighborhood under the alias of Biz Markie. His music scene debut began in 1985 as a beat box for Roxanne Shante of the Juice Crew. From then Biz began constructing his own destiny in the mystifying world of rap and hip-hop. Two of his most impactful hit songs came in the late 80s with “Just a Friend” and “Make the Music with your Mouth Biz.” Now 30 years older and wiser, Biz continues to be universally praised by the ever-fickle and unforgiving hip-hop industry. Peter Noone has long been revered by millions for his superb lead vocals fronting one of England’s premier groups, Herman’s Hermits. The fresh-faced and velvet voiced Noone became one of the world’s top teen idols sharing the rarefied air with the likes of The Beatles, Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones. Highly regarded as the standard bearer of British pop rock, Noone and his band erupted on the rock music scene in 1964 and rode high atop the first wave of the British Invasion scoring hit-after-timeless-hit.
