WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 4, 2018) – Magician/Comedian Justin Willman is performing live in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Sun Pocono on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:00pm.
Tickets start at $25.00 and go on sale Friday, December 7th at 10:00am through ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000. Tickets can also be purchased at Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Box Office located at the Player’s Club in the casino. Must be 18 years or over. Ticketmaster presale is available online from Tuesday, December 4th at 10:00am to Thursday, December 6th at 10:00pm. The password SUSAN is required.
This summer, Willman premiered his six-episode magic series on Netflix entitled Magic For Humans with Justin Willman. In the series, Willman brings his skills as a magician to the strange and misunderstood subcultures of America, while incorporating his disarming demeanor into street magic and social experiments that will boggle the mind. Upon premiering, the show instantly became one of the most streamed shows on Netflix with clips from the show garnering over 300 million views to date across social media, even sparking a viral meme. Indiewire called Willman the “perfect magician/hybrid prototype with incredible comedic timing,” and Rotten Tomatoes currently has the show listed at an 88% audience approval.
The L.A. Times exclaimed that Willman is, “A new breed of magician who’s making magic cool again for grown-ups.” Playboy Magazine dubbed him, “The freshest and funniest magician working today,” and Time Out hailed that his show, “Has to be seen to be disbelieved.”
Prior to Magic for Humans, Willman was known for his multiple appearances on The Tonight Show, Ellen, and Conan. He also performed live at the White House for the Obama Family as well. His debut comedy/magic special Sleight of Mouth premiered on Comedy Central in 2015 to rave reviews.
Willman is also a consultant & writer for film/television productions like America’s Got Talent, The Goldbergs, and Disney’s upcoming feature film Magic Camp.
Justin was born in St. Louis, lives in Los Angeles, and does not own a rabbit.

Legendary hip-hop artist, DJ Biz Markie, DJ’s Mohegan Sun Pocono’s 2018 Halloween Boo Bash; $5,000 Is Up For Grabs For Best Costumes
WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 17, 2018) – Taking place on Friday, October 26th, from 8:00pm – Midnight, Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Keystone Grand Ballroom will be home to the 2018 Boo Bash, with DJ Biz Markie in the DJ booth and a $1,000 grand prize up for grabs in the Boo Bash costume party! $5,000 total in cash prizes will be divvied out to the best costumes at the party with winners announced at 11:00pm. This is a free event for guests who are 21 and over!

*The winners in each of the above categories will take home $500 and the “Best overall costume” winner will be awarded $1,000!
The legendary DJ Biz Markie brings more than 30 years of hip-hop acumen and 
an overwhelming fan-base that stretches from New York City to Japan to Europe. At the age of 14, Marcel Hall dazzled his neighborhood under the alias of Biz Markie. His music scene debut began in 1985 as a beat box for Roxanne Shante of the Juice Crew. From then Biz began constructing his own destiny in the mystifying world of rap and hip-hop. Two of his most impactful hit songs came in the late 80s with “Just a Friend” and “Make the Music with your Mouth Biz.” Now 30 years older and wiser, Biz continues to be universally praised by the ever-fickle and unforgiving hip-hop industry. announce the naming of Gary DeWitt Jr. as Assistant General Manager. DeWitt Jr. has been a consultant for Mohegan Sun Pocono over the course of the past year, and prior to that, played an instrumental role in the spring 2017 opening of ilani, a Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) partnership with the Cowlitz tribe of southwest Washington. He now joins the executive team at MSP with major focuses in both gaming and non-gaming areas.
Gary DeWitt Jr.’s career in the gaming & hospitality industry spans more than 25 years with senior level roles at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Argosy Casino and hotel in Riverside, Missouri and Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway in Dayton, Ohio where he held the position of Vice President & General Manager. In his elevated position as Assistant General Manager, DeWitt Jr. will focused largely on the casino, hotel, security and facilities departments, with an emphasis on delivering exemplary service, both internally as well as to Mohegan Sun Pocono guests.
