On Sunday, December 31st, guests can coast into the new year at the Keystone Grand Ballroom during the Love Boat NYE Celebration. Breakers is set to wrap up 2023 with an electrifying entertainment lineup. On Friday, December 29th, Reel in the Years takes the stage from 8:30pm – 12:30am. Reel in the Years is comprised of Ray ‘Sugar Ray’ Nemetz on guitar, bass and vocals, Richie Kossuth on drums and percussion, and Brandon Jopling on keyboard, bass, guitar, harmonica and vocals. The dynamic trio takes pride in covering songs from 1950s to the 2000s, including hits from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Temptations, BB King, Pearl Jam and many more. UUU takes the stage on Saturday, December 30th from 8:30pm – 12:30am. This versatile cover band has played every type of event one can think of – from weddings to corporate events and even PGA tour events. UUU was also featured on VH1’s Cover Wars. Light up the Moon is ready to light up the stage on New Year’s Eve from 8:30pm – 12:30am. This band puts on a show like no other, with a dynamic stage presence and infectious energy that gets the entire audience engaged. Over at The Hive Taphouse, Leighann & Co Duo kick off New Year’s Eve weekend with a performance from 9:30pm – 12:30am. Leighann & Co Duo is the perfect musical experience for any atmosphere, party or function. Whether it’s a party that you are looking for or just some good ole’ relaxing music, Leighann & Company is your choice! Saturday night’s stage belongs to DEUCE from 9:30pm – 12:30pm. DEUCE performs fan-favorite throwback and modern hits from Rock, Pop, Rocked-Up Oldies, Classic Rock and 80s, to Disco Pop and Hard Rock. The Fuchery is bringing in 2024 on a high note with high energy and debauchery from 8:30pm – 12:30am. This group of local musicians plays with no script, running songs the crowd enjoys by request or singing songs they know off the cusp. Guests can also enjoy $4 Yuengling Flight bottles, $10 flatbreads and specialty cocktails at The Hive Taphouse on Saturday December 30th, Sunday, December 31st and Monday, January 1st.
Guests can sail into paradise just outside of The Hive Taphouse with the Aloha 2024 Hawaiian Luau at Embers Terrace on Sunday, December 31st. Starting at 6:00pm, Tropical drinks will be served and the fire pits will warm up the night while ‘Sugar Ray’ Nemetz helps ring in the new year.
Molly O’Sheas is ringing in 2024 with refreshing drink specials! On Friday, December 29th, guests can enjoy a $4.50 Black and Tan from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. Blue Moon drafts are available in a 20 oz. pour for $4.50 on Saturday, December 30th from Noon – 7:00pm. Guests can enjoy 20 oz. Miller Lite Drafts for $4.50 all day long on Sunday, December 31st. Featured cocktails Sailor’s Sunset and Tropical Paradise will be available on December 30th and December 31st. New Year’s Eve at Molly O’Sheas also includes a live performance from THE JOB Unplugged. Drink specials at Pearl Sushi Bar include half-priced martinis from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday, December 29th and $6.00 sake-tinis from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on Saturday, December 30th. Guests can let Rustic Kitchen do the cooking while enjoying all-inclusive cooking shows! The menu on Friday, December 29th includes a classic French onion soup, and Beef Wellington, filled with mushroom duxelles and prosciutto, served with fingerling potatoes, sauteed spinach and presented with a port wine reduction. Dessert is a chocolate pecan pie with a red wine pairing. On Saturday, December 30th and December 31st, dinner starts with jumbo lump crab stuffed shrimp with a lemon beuree blanc. The main course is peppercorn-crusted filet mignon served with a butter poached lobster tail. Mohegan Pennsylvania is ready to turn up the heat for a
thrilling Hot Summer Fun season! From July 1st through September 1st, Momentum members can enjoy giveaways with chances to win more than $2 million in cash prizes, Free Slot Play, brand-new summer toys and more. Hot Summer Fun begins with a summer kick-off event featuring Ostrich and Camel races and live harness racing. Don’t miss weekly tribute bands at the popular outdoor concert series Party on the Patio, and the FUNTASTIC 2023 Tour featuring Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Summer Kickoff marks the start of the season with camel and ostrich races on July 1st. Live harness racing serves as the star of the show, where Mohegan PA’s horse racing action gets a unique twist. Between races, ostriches and camels with drivers will make a mad dash to the finish line! This family-friendly event starts at 12:30pm with the FBS Initiative presenting the colors during the National Anthem. Guests can also enjoy face painting, balloon art, Jitty Joe’s Ice Cream Truck and more! Local charity Marley’s Mission and veteran service organizations Amvets and PA Wounded Warriors will be on hand to provide support to guests of all ages.
Also kicking off on July 1st is Mohegan Pennsylvania’s “Toys Of Summer Giveaway.” Momentum members can earn entries all month long to win their choice of a Polaris Slingshot, Kawasaki Teryx, or an Aprilia RSV4 from North American Warhorse. The drawing will take place on July 29th with over 100 winners, but only one lucky Momentum member will drive away with their new summer toy!

The contest had nearly one million entries and on the evening of Saturday, May 27th, the grand prize 2023 Jeep Wrangler was won by Wilkes-Barre, PA native! WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 25, 2023)– The Kentucky Derby Celebration is back at Mohegan Pennsylvania! This much anticipated annual party gets started at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 6th when outdoor beverage windows and food trucks open. Registration for the Hat Revue starts at 4:00pm, and guests will compete for up to $500 in Mohegan Pennsylvania gift cards. The Kentucky Derby celebration at Mohegan Pennsylvania is free for all fans age 21+ to enjoy.
Outdoor beverage windows at the Kentucky Derby Celebration will offer mint juleps, Coors Light, Blue Moon, and a variety of seltzers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. Two of Pennsylvania’s best food trucks, Ray’s Porketta and Jitty Joe’s Homemade Ice Cream, will be stationed outside for the celebration. There will be live music by The JOB and Light up the Moon starting at 2:00pm. Guests can also participate in the NEPA Cornhole Tournaments throughout the afternoon on the track infield.
It’s contest time! Guests can bring their greatest Churchill Downs inspired hats for a chance to win great prizes. Registration for the Hat Revue will be from 4:00pm – 6:00pm, and there are three different prizes that guests can win. The top prize includes a $500 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card that will be awarded to the Best Dressed Couple. The other two categories are Most Classic and Most Creative, each awarding a $250 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card. Mohegan Pennsylvania gift cards can be redeemed towards an overnight stay, tantalizing dining choices and incredible shopping selections across the property.
At approximately 6:57pm, the Kentucky Derby will begin, televised on the outdoor jumbo screen and indoor racing TV’s. Mohegan Pennsylvania will also be accepting advance wagers for the Kentucky Derby on Friday, May 5th. There will be no live harness racing meets scheduled for May 6th but simulcast wagering will be available for all tracks with live meets including Churchill Downs throughout the day. All guests must be 18 years or older to place wagers at the indoor simulcast location.
