WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 19, 2019) – Party on the Patio at Mohegan Sun Pocono is back and better than ever! Northeast Pennsylvania’s top spot for live entertainment is keeping the party going for two extra weeks by extending Party on the Patio from June 20th – August 29th. Every Thursday, guests can dance the night away with some of the most exciting tribute bands in the country, including 7800 Fahrenheit and A Proud Monkey – two bands who are proud natives of NEPA. Guests can also enjoy delicious food trucks and drink specials all summer long.
Doors open for Party on the Patio at 6:30pm and the bands start at 7:30pm. All attendees must be 21 and over.

WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 13, 2019) – It’s St. Patrick’s Day at Mohegan Sun Pocono and Molly O’Sheas is the home base for all things green and gold. The Irish Pub & Eatery is offering specials and live entertainment from Friday, March 15th to Sunday, March 17th.
Food specials feature a variety of Irish-inspired classics:
- Drunken Beef Fries – whiskey-braised beef topped with waffle fries and slathered in sharp cheese sauce
- Smashed Red Bliss Potato Dippers – whole red bliss potatoes smashed and fried to perfection with a duo of dipping sauces
- Corned Beef and Rumbledethumps – chunked corned beef served with a casserole of potato, onion, and cabbage, topped with melted cheese accompanies with grain mustard
- Guinness Fish and Chips – Guinness-battered fried fish served with waffle fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce
Molly O’Sheas is also welcoming the return of the Reuben Challenge. Order a 4lb Reuben (valued at $29.99) and if it’s eaten in 60 minutes or less, the Reuben is free. Those who complete the challenge also receive a free t-shirt.
Pair the festive food specials with St. Paddy’s inspired drinks:

WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 27, 2018) – Molly O’Sheas’ first anniversary at Mohegan Sun Poconois filled cash prizes, live music, a Reuben challenge and more! Guests will have the chance to celebrate with Molly O’Sheas throughout the month of January.
For starters – $1,000.00 in cash is up for grabs for a lucky guest. All guests have to do is purchase a minimum of $10.00 from Molly O’Sheas food & drink menu between January 1st and 27th. The receipt that is given to guests after this purchase will have information on how to enter the contest. The drawing is January 27th at 6:00pm, and if the first place winner is present at the drawing their cash prize increases to $2,500! Other prizes include memorabilia packages, dinner for a year and a Molly O’Sheas t-shirt.
Molly O’Sheas is hosting an Irish Whiskey Parings Event on Thursday, January 24th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Guests will enjoy five delicious high-end whiskey and appetizer pairings, along with flatbreads, various cheeses, carved Italian meats and grilled vegetables. Breakers to feature the best tribute bands on the first Saturday of every month through June, with Dean Ford kicking things off!
One of the top touring tribute acts around are making their way to Mohegan Sun
Pocono. Dean Ford, whose resemblance and performance in tribute of the late Pop superstar, Prince, is arguably unmatched, will be on stage with his band, The Beautiful Ones, for a free show inside Breakers at Mohegan Sun Pocono on Saturday, January 5th. This show kicks-off live entertainment at Breakers that will play host to incredible tribute bands well into the New Year!
The Beautiful Ones are the first of what will be a regular tribute band lineup at Breakers, one of the best live music bars in PA, the first Saturday of every month through June 2019, with shows starting around 9:30pm, with no cover. announce the naming of Gary DeWitt Jr. as Assistant General Manager. DeWitt Jr. has been a consultant for Mohegan Sun Pocono over the course of the past year, and prior to that, played an instrumental role in the spring 2017 opening of ilani, a Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) partnership with the Cowlitz tribe of southwest Washington. He now joins the executive team at MSP with major focuses in both gaming and non-gaming areas.
Gary DeWitt Jr.’s career in the gaming & hospitality industry spans more than 25 years with senior level roles at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, Hollywood Casino in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Argosy Casino and hotel in Riverside, Missouri and Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway in Dayton, Ohio where he held the position of Vice President & General Manager. In his elevated position as Assistant General Manager, DeWitt Jr. will focused largely on the casino, hotel, security and facilities departments, with an emphasis on delivering exemplary service, both internally as well as to Mohegan Sun Pocono guests.
