November 30th set as the first occupancy date for new seven-story hotel

The new, seven story, 238-room hotel includes 126 king and 92 double queen standard guest rooms as well as 20 suites. The hotel is a part of Project Sunlight, an expansion project that also includes an adjacent 20,000 square-foot Convention Center which will cater to business travelers for any number of special events, meetings, concerts and more. With dividable space, the new Convention Center at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be able to accommodate a number of different sized groups up to 800 for seated banquets. The space can even be converted into a concert venue, holding up 1,500 seats.
