Hosted by The River 105, NEPA’s favorite outdoor concert tradition — Party on the Patio at Mohegan Pennsylvania — returns this spring and summer for its 17th season, bringing back the region’s top tribute acts for 19 electric weeks of live music. Taking place at the Mohegan Pennsylvania racetrack, guests can enjoy a rotating lineup of fan‑favorite food trucks, along with weekly drink specials and free general admission. The 2026 series kicks off with Haus of Monsters: America’s #1 Tribute to Lady Gaga, promising a high‑energy opening night.
Premium seating options are also back this summer after their successful debut last year at Party on the Patio at Mohegan Pennsylvania. Guests can now elevate their experience with upgraded seats close to the action, personal beverage service, and access to a dedicated standing lounge area for only $15. WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 25, 2025) – The performance by the popular Bon Jovi tribute band, Jay Bon Jovi, originally scheduled outside for Party on the Patio at Mohegan Pennsylvania tomorrow evening has been moved to Friday night due to anticipated inclement weather. The concert will begin at 7:30pm on Friday, with doors opening at 6:00pm. Premium seating tickets will be honored for this rescheduled performance. Premium guests who are unable to make the rescheduled date will receive a full refund through their form of payment.
Jay Bon Jovi is a tribute band made up of five best friends who grew up on the anthems of the ’80s and now bring that same rock spirit to stages across the country. Combining members of 7800 Fahrenheit and Bon Poison, they deliver an immersive concert experience that faithfully recreates the sound, look, and feel of Bon Jovi’s iconic Slippery When Wet and New Jersey tours. WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 7. 2022)– Tribute band fans rejoice! Mohegan Sun Pocono (MSP) is excited to announce the return of Party on the Patio. Taking place every Thursday one the racetrack apron June 2nd to September 1st, guests can enjoy Northeastern Pennsylvania’s most popular concert series full of live entertainment, a variety of tasty food truck options, and thirst-quenching drink specials. As always, there is no cover charge at Party on the Patio.
In addition to some of the best tribute bands in the country, Dean Ford and the Beautiful Ones is making their Party on the Patio debut on June 9th with Prince’s greatest hits. Three weeks later, Who’s Bad is set to bring the best of Michael Jackson to the outdoor stage for the first time since 2011.
Stay tuned to MSP’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram ahead of the July 14th Rubix Kube show for more information on the 80s costume contest on social media corresponding with a night full of the greatest hits of the decade. The following week, fellow NEPA natives Philadelphia Freedom will headline Party on the Patio with a tribute performance to Elton John on Thursday July 21st.
The best local food trucks, including 2 Wayz One Passion and Ray’s Porketta, will be featured throughout duration of Party on the Patio. Coors Light, Blue Moon and a variety of seltzers, spirits and mixed drinks will also be offered.
Party on the Patio performances do not have a cover and doors open at 6:30pm. These incredible bands start rockin’ the stage at 7:30pm. All attendees must be 21 and over and valid identification is required for entry.

Popular tribute band, Almost Queen, will now take the stage on Friday, July 9th, due to inclement weather in the forecast for Thursday
WILKES-BARRE, PA – (July 7, 2021) – Mohegan Sun Pocono (MSP) will be moving this week’s Party on the Patio event to Friday, July 9th, due to inclement weather forecasted in the NEPA region for this Thursday. Mohegan Sun Pocono made this decision due to the overwhelming demand for the band Almost Queen, one of the most authentic and exhilarating Queen tribute bands. Doors will open at 6:30pm, with opener Dustin Douglas performing at 7:00pm, followed by Almost Queen at 8:00pm.
A portion of the food and beverage sales from this Party on the Patio event will go towards WNEP’s Joe Snedeker’s #GoJoe24 bike ride to support the kids and young adults of the St. Joes Center in Scranton, PA.
Party on the Patio will return to Thursday evenings next week, when The Great Escape (a Tribute to Journey) performs. Party on the Patio, as part of Hot Summer Fun at Mohegan Sun Pocono, has no cover charge and features drink specials and local food trucks each week.

In addition to some of the best tribute bands in the country, Badfish is making their Party on the Patio debut on July 1st with Sublime’s greatest hits. The following week, Almost Queen is set to bring the best of Queen to Mohegan Sun Pocono for the first time since 2016. Almost Queen will also have Philadelphia Freedom opening, who are fellow NEPA natives and a tribute to Elton John.
