Mohegan Pennsylvania is ready to turn up the heat for a
thrilling Hot Summer Fun season! From July 1st through September 1st, Momentum members can enjoy giveaways with chances to win more than $2 million in cash prizes, Free Slot Play, brand-new summer toys and more. Hot Summer Fun begins with a summer kick-off event featuring Ostrich and Camel races and live harness racing. Don’t miss weekly tribute bands at the popular outdoor concert series Party on the Patio, and the FUNTASTIC 2023 Tour featuring Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.
Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Summer Kickoff marks the start of the season with camel and ostrich races on July 1st. Live harness racing serves as the star of the show, where Mohegan PA’s horse racing action gets a unique twist. Between races, ostriches and camels with drivers will make a mad dash to the finish line! This family-friendly event starts at 12:30pm with the FBS Initiative presenting the colors during the National Anthem. Guests can also enjoy face painting, balloon art, Jitty Joe’s Ice Cream Truck and more! Local charity Marley’s Mission and veteran service organizations Amvets and PA Wounded Warriors will be on hand to provide support to guests of all ages.
Also kicking off on July 1st is Mohegan Pennsylvania’s “Toys Of Summer Giveaway.” Momentum members can earn entries all month long to win their choice of a Polaris Slingshot, Kawasaki Teryx, or an Aprilia RSV4 from North American Warhorse. The drawing will take place on July 29th with over 100 winners, but only one lucky Momentum member will drive away with their new summer toy!
In August, Momentum members can earn entries for the “$75,000 Aloha August Giveaway.” Drawings will take place as Hot Summer Fun wraps up on September 1st. One lucky winner will receive $25,000 Cash!
HOT SUMMER FUN DAYS OF THE WEEK
Momentum members can win big or score some sweet deals every day of the week during Hot Summer Fun!
Every Sunday starting July 2nd through August 20th, Momentum members who earn at least three Status Points will be able to participate in a slot tournament. On Sunday, August 27th Mohegan Pennsylvania will host the “Move-In Day Giveaway” where the first 1,000 Momentum members to earn one Status Point will receive their choice of back-to-school essentials.
Mondays bring the element of surprise to Hot Summer Fun. Each Monday there will be a different promotion, including a Toys of Summer entry multiplier, a Status Point Multiplier, Free Slot Play giveaways and more. All Momentum members who play their favorite slot machine or table game are eligible!
The first 500 Momentum members to earn one Status Point on Tuesdays will receive a commemorative Hot Summer Fun 2023 t-shirt. A new design is featured each of the nine weeks – visit each week to collect all nine! T-shirt recipients will receive $20 Free Slot Play when they return to Mohegan Pennsylvania on the following Thursday. On Tuesday, July 4th there will be a special “Independence Day Play to Earn Mystery” promotion where Momentum members can play a mystery game at any Promotional Kiosk to win up to $1,000 Free Slot Play.
Join Mohegan Pennsylvania on Wednesdays to enjoy the “Play & Eat” promotion where Momentum members who earn four Status Points are eligible to print a dining credit voucher at any Promotional Kiosk.
Thursdays are thunderstruck in July and August. Momentum members can play their favorite slot machine or table game for a chance to win an Indian motorcycle from North American Warhorse. The Grand Prize winner will be announced just before the music starts during Party on the Patio on August 31st.
On July 7th, 14th and 21st, Momentum members who earn five Status Points are eligible to participate in the “$1 Million Press For Cash” promotion on the Mega Wall to win up to $1 Million in cash.

HOT SUMMER FUN ENTERTAINMENT
The action gets amped up with Pennsylvania’s biggest and best free concert series, Party on the Patio, taking place outdoors every Thursday night through September 14th. Dance the night away with the nation’s best tribute bands, and enjoy drink specials and local food trucks. Highlighted performances include Tusk, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, Rubix Kube, a tribute to the 80s, and Who’s Bad, a tribute to Michael Jackson. Don’t let the party stop there! Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo are set to turn up the heat with the FUNTASTIC 2023 Tour at Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Outdoor Concert Venue on Friday, July 28th. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show kicks off at 8:00pm, rain or shine. Tickets are $55.00 and on sale now via ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Pennsylvania Box Office, located at the Hotel Front Desk. There are a limited number of VIP packages available for purchase. Entry is general admission, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is 21+ and valid identification is required upon entry.

Breakers to feature the best tribute bands on the first Saturday of every month through June, with Dean Ford kicking things off!
One of the top touring tribute acts around are making their way to Mohegan Sun
Pocono. Dean Ford, whose resemblance and performance in tribute of the late Pop superstar, Prince, is arguably unmatched, will be on stage with his band, The Beautiful Ones, for a free show inside Breakers at Mohegan Sun Pocono on Saturday, January 5th. This show kicks-off live entertainment at Breakers that will play host to incredible tribute bands well into the New Year!
The Beautiful Ones are the first of what will be a regular tribute band lineup at Breakers, one of the best live music bars in PA, the first Saturday of every month through June 2019, with shows starting around 9:30pm, with no cover. Call for entries now through January 29th
WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 7, 2015) – Does your band have what it takes to
reign supreme? Mohegan Sun Pocono wants to know! The sixth annual Battle of the Bands competition kicks off on Thursday, March 17th at Breakers, and starting now Mohegan Sun Pocono is looking for the best bands in NEPA to compete!
Don’t wait! Now through January 29th, interested bands can submit an entry to be crowned this year’s winner, and for the chance to win cash prizes at the grand finale on May 26, 2016, including the $10,000 grand prize!
To express interest in competing in this popular event, bands must submit the following no later than 5:00pm on Friday, January 29, 2016. 32 bands will be selected and notified no later than Monday, February 29th.
- Demo CD, EPK, website and/or flash drive containing no more than three songs. This should be as close as possible to proposed live performance; cover music preferred. Please note in writing with submission if there are overdubbed parts or guest artists who will not be part of the competition.
- Recent photo with names and instrumentation of all players, and an input list (preferably in digital format)
- Current song list and proposed 30-minute set list for the competition
- List of any Thursday evenings during the competition (March 17th through May 26th) that band would not be available between 7pm and Midnight
- Contact information, including email address and daytime phone number
- Verification that all band members are 21 years of age or older
