WHAT: Who says Halloween is just for the kids? At Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Breakers will be hosting a special “Boo Bash” party and costume contest. Guests will be awarded for funniest, scariest, hottest, most creative homemade and best overall costume.

IN DETAIL: Entry period for Breakers’ “Boo Bash” costume contest will be from 7:00pm -10:00pm. Winners will be announced at approximately 10:15pm. Guests can enjoy live music from the band UUU from 8:00pm – Midnight.
*All guests who enter the contest with a Halloween costume will receive $10.00 in Free Slot Play or $10.00 in match play.

The return of Party on the Patio, exclusive offers and more
WILKES-BARRE, PA – The fourth annual Hot Summer Fun celebrations are about to be underway and one of the most fun filled
nights of the week is sure to be Thrills and Chills Thursdays. Guests can expect great promotions like the $500,000 Sizzling Summer Scratch and Win giveaway and the return of Party on the Patio!
Every Thursday during Hot Summer Fun guests are invited to play the $500,000 Sizzling Summer Scratch and Win where twice an hour between 11:00am – 6:00pm, one lucky slot bank will be selected to win a scratch card. Every card is a winner of a Free Slot Play prize based on the amount of lucky symbols they reveal. Anyone who scratches off all 6 lucky symbols will win $500,000.
Thrills and Chills Thursdays are also home to the annual Party on the Patio. Northeast Pennsylvania’s biggest party of the year is back, bigger than ever with more space, a full bar, Johnny Rockets and Ben & Jerry’s! Party on the Patio will take place each Thursday throughout Hot Summer Fun on the racetrack apron from 5:00pm – 10:00pm. The hugely-popular event is free and open to guests 21 or older and will offer $2.00 Coors Light bottles all night long.

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs at 8:00pm, followed by a special appearance at Breakers.

ABOUT DITRA: Drita D’Avanzo is the wife of Lee D’Avanzo, who federal prosecutors allege is the leader of a Bonanno and Colombo crime family farm team. While Drita’s husband is serving time in prison for bank robbery (for the second time), she is left alone raising their two young girls and freelancing as a make-up artist.
Ditra was raised in the projects of Staten Island after her family settled there from Albania. Under the aid of her hardnosed father who coached soccer, Ditra would be invited to play for the Women’s National Soccer Team until she met her first love and decided against going. After a string of relationships, Ditra met and fell in love with Lee. While pregnant with their first child, Lee would be sentenced to 8 years in prison for alleged bank robberies. Ditra realized during this time that she would need something to fall back on and that’s when she started her career as a make-up artist. She has since worked for various high-end cosmetic companies while her husband has been away and plans to use her skills and initiative to one day develop her own cosmetic line.
