The teen country music star will play an 8:00pm concert on July 6th
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs welcomes season four champion of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery, for a concert inside the Keystone Grand Ballroom. The concert is on Sunday, July 6th and begins at 8:00 pm.
Tickets for Danielle Bradbery are $20.00 each and go on sale Friday, May 9th at 10:00 am. Danielle Bradbery was only 16 years old when she auditioned for the NBC hit show, The Voice. Bradbery wowed the judges with her rendition of Taylor Swift’s, “Mean”, and secured herself a spot on country music superstar Blake Shelton’s team. Week after week Bradbery emerged as a frontrunner. She topped the iTunes charts with covers of popular country hits such as, “Who I Am”, “Heads Carolina, Tails California”, and “Born to Fly”. Bradbery won season 4 of The Voice and became the youngest contestant to win the competition.
After her victory on The Voice, Bradbery was signed to Big Machine Records. She released her first single, “Heart of Dixie” which debuted on her self-titled album. In 2013, Bradbery joined Brad Paisley as an opening act on his Beat This Summer Tour along with Chris Young. She remained an opening act when the tour was extended and renamed Beat This Winter Tour in 2014. The beloved 80’s band, best known for their single, “Eye of the Tiger” will rock the show with other classic hits such as “Burning Heat”, “The Search is Over” and “Is This Love”.

Survivor was formed in Chicago and after playing a variety of small clubs and venues over the years, was signed by Atlantic Records. When Sylvester Stallone approached the band requesting a theme song for his movie, Rocky III, Survivor delivered; “Eye of the Tiger” shot the band into fame. The single spent six weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 charts and won a Grammy Award, a People’s Choice Award and a nomination for an Academy Award.
After the success of their most notable single, Survivor went on to release a slew of new music. Their 1984 album, Vital Signs, went multi-platinum and delivered hit after hit, keeping Survivor on the charts for over 40 weeks. “I Can’t Hold Back”, “High on You” and “Too Hot to Sleep” are just a few of the many successful songs Survivor has created. November 30th set as the first occupancy date for new seven-story hotel
WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs, one of the largest and most distinctive entertainment, gaming, shopping and dining destinations in Pennsylvania, has started taking reservations today for their new seven-story, 238-room hotel.
Guests are now able to make hotel reservations and plan their trips to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs beginning November 30, 2013 and beyond. Reservations can be made online at mohegansunpocono.com or by phone by calling 1.888.WIN.IN.PA.
“We’re really excited to be able to invite our guests, who have long made Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs their daytrip destination, to enjoy the property in a whole new light,” said Mike Bean, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
“The addition of the new hotel positions Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs to become the region’s premier overnight destination,” added Bean.
The new, seven story, 238-room hotel includes 126 king and 92 double queen standard guest rooms as well as 20 suites. The hotel features rooms with exclusive views of the Race Track, as well as a fitness center, in-room iPad directories, free Wi-Fi, room service, indoor heated swimming pool, the full service Spa Sapphire, a Bistro serving breakfast and light fare and more.
The hotel is a part of Project Sunlight, an expansion project that also includes an adjacent 20,000 square-foot Convention Center which will cater to business travelers for any number of special events, meetings, concerts and more. With dividable space, the new Convention Center at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will be able to accommodate a number of different sized groups up to 800 for seated banquets. The space can even be converted into a concert venue, holding up 1,500 seats.
