WILKES-BARRE, PA (December 17, 2024) – The Lalas, one of the best in burlesque, are set to perform an equally hilarious and sexy show in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at Mohegan Pennsylvania on Friday, February 14th. Doors for this special Valentine’s Day performance open at 7:30pm and the show kicks off at 9:00pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 20th at 10:00am via ticketmaster.com. The Lalas will have guests at the edge of their seat, jaw dropped, and hootin’ and hollerin’ like they’ve never thought possible on the evening of February 14th. Now through January 1st The Hive Taphouse ramps up Holiday Entertainment, Events and Festive F&B specials
WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 26, 2024) – Mohegan Pennsylvania is thrilled to announce the return of the ultimate holiday experience in NEPA, Jingle at The Hive Taphouse. Now through Wednesday, January 1st, guests can head over to The Hive Taphouse to experience a decked out holiday pop-up takeover that promises to bring the festive spirit to Northeast Pennsylvania. The holiday celebration kicks off with the much-awaited return of Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns on Thanksgiving Eve! From festive food & drink specials to holiday inspired special events, Jingle at The Hive Taphouse has something for everyone. Jingle at the Hive Taphouse is open from 9:00am – 10:00pm on Sundays, Noon – 10:00pm on Mondays – Thursdays, and Noon – 1:00am on Fridays & Saturdays.

On Saturday, December 7th at 7:00pm, Jingle at The Hive Taphouse will feature SantaCon! SantaCon events continue to grow in popularity and allow guests to dress up as Santa and other famous holiday characters – and at Mohegan Pennsylvania those festive costumes will directly compete with one another from 8:00pm – 10:00pm! At 11:00pm, winners of the contest will be announced and a $250 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card will be awarded to the winners of best Santa, Elf and Ugly Sweater costume! Additionally, Leighann & Co. will be providing the live holiday entertainment from 8:30pm – 12:30am! SantaCon is for guests 21 years of age or older and is completely free to attend.
Guests will have an opportunity to compete against one another during Jingle at The Hive Taphouse’s Holiday Hat and Hair Contest! On Saturday, December 14th from 8:00pm – 10:00pm, guests are invited to show up in their best holiday hat or festive hair style and compete for bragging rights and special prizes! The first, second and third place winners in each category will receive a $75 Mohegan Pennsylvania Gift Card, Champagne Brunch at The Hive Taphouse for two, and Top Golf for two, respectively. Winners will be announced at 10:30pm.
On Sunday, December 15th, The Hive Taphouse will provide fun for the whole family as Brunch with Santa is set to take place from 9:00am – Noon. Throughout the brunch, guests will be able to meet and take photos with Santa! The Hive Taphouse’s revamped Champagne Brunch Buffet features fresh made-to-order eggs and omelets, a sweet assortment of pastries and muffins, soups and salads, a rotating selection of your favorite chicken, beef and seafood dishes, and a mimosa or glass of champagne with $5 refills for adult guests. Kids under 3 are free! Guests under the age of 21 must enter through the Racing entrance adjacent to parking lot A and always be accompanied by an adult.
On Saturday, December 21st, guests will have another opportunity to compete against one another during Jingle at The Hive Taphouse’s Holiday Beard and Mustache Contest! From 8:00pm – 10:00pm, guests are invited to show up with their best holiday beard or mustache and compete for bragging rights and special prizes! Additionally, trivia and karaoke continue on Fridays with special holiday themes! On Fridays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th beginning at 7:30pm at Jingle at the Hive Taphouse, guests can take part in Holiday Trivia Nights with DJ Tommy where the top three teams will win a Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card! WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 20, 2024) – Endless Midnight is making a return to Mohegan Pennsylvania (MPA) which means guests are once again invited to celebrate the end of the year and start of the new year in style. From Friday, December 27th – Wednesday, January 1st, Mohegan Pennsylvania will host the biggest party of the year featuring show-stopping celebrations, dazzling ways to win, food & beverage specials, and electrifying entertainment.
Endless Midnight Events & Entertainment
On Tuesday, December 31st, guests can experience a New Year’s Eve party like no other during the Mad Dinner and Tea Party in the Keystone Grand Ballroom. Tickets to the Mad Dinner and Tea Party, which can be purchased at the hotel front desk, are $125 and include delicious cuisine, beverages, electrifying entertainment by Flaxy Morgan, and party favors. Seating times for dinner are 5:00pm and 9:00pm. A hotel package is also available which includes an overnight stay at MPA and two tickets to the Mad Dinner and Tea Party. A special hotel package is also available which includes the above benefits along with Champagne Brunch for two at The Hive Taphouse on New Year’s Day.
Breakers is set to end 2024 with can’t-miss entertainment. On Friday, December 27th, Electric City Music Conference award-winning band, Down by 5, takes the stage from 8:30pm – 12:30am. NEPA based cover band that has been rocking the region for the past 29 years, Flaxy Morgan, takes the stage on Saturday, December 28th from 8:30pm – 12:30am. On Sunday, December 29th from 9:30pm – 12:30am, Hoopla Band Lite will perform the best selection of music that promises to keep the good times rolling. Light up the Moon is ready to light up the stage on New Year’s Eve from 8:30pm – 12:30am. This band puts on a show like no other, with a dynamic stage presence and infectious energy that gets the entire audience engaged. Guests can also enjoy half-priced draft beer at Breakers on December 27th and December 28th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
Over at The Hive Taphouse, the premier band for live entertainment, Bad Liars, is set to kick off New Year’s Eve weekend with a performance from 9:30pm – 12:30am. Saturday night’s stage belongs to Chasing Ashlee Duo from 9:30pm – 12:30pm where they’ll be preforming the best in Rock from the 70s to now. On Sunday night from 9:30pm – 12:30am, Until Sunrise will be providing guests with the best party and dance music the 80’s has to offer. On New Year’s Eve, guests can try one of The Hive Taphouse’s featured cocktails Down the Rabbit Hole, Mad as a Hatter, and Looking Glass while jamming out to The Fuchery from 8:30pm – 12:30am. On New Year’s Day, guests can head to The Hive Taphouse from 9:00am – Noon to experience the Champagne Brunch for $39.99 which includes an omelet station and carved prime rib.
Embers Terrace will be hosting a Wonderland Glo Party on New Year’s Eve from 8:00pm – 1:00am where guests can join in on an unforgettable evening filled with shimmering lights and vibrant energy. Throughout the night, guests can sip on handcrafted cocktails and dance to the rhythm of DJ Drew Heaven.
WiseCrackers Comedy Club is ending 2024 on a hilarious note with two shows at 7:00pm and 10:00pm, headlined by Jon Fisch. Guests may recognize Jon from his appearances on both The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Additionally, Jon has been on Comedy Central and NBC’s Last Comic Standing 4 where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite. Jon has performed at multiple comedy festivals including the HBO Comedy Arts Festival, the Great American Comedy Festival and Montreal’s prestigious “Just for Laughs” Festival. Tickets to the 7:00pm show are $25 and tickets to the 10:00pm show are $30. Ticket price for the 10:00pm show includes party favors and a champagne toast.

Guests can let Rustic Kitchen do the cooking while enjoying all-inclusive cooking shows! The menu on Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th includes a classic French onion soup, and Beef Wellington, filled with mushroom duxelles and prosciutto, served with fingerling potatoes, sauteed spinach and presented with a port wine reduction. Dessert is a chocolate pecan pie with a red wine pairing. On December 30th and December 31st, dinner starts with jumbo lump crab stuffed shrimp with a lemon beuree blanc. The main course is peppercorn-crusted filet mignon served with a butter poached lobster tail. Dessert is strawberry champagne cake, plus guests can enjoy Los Señores Cabernet Sauvignon and a special champagne toast! Reservations are required to attend cooking shows at Rustic Kitchen.

Conveniently located adjacent to the food court (in the former Electric City Roasting Company space), The Crafty Stir is the perfect place for a pick-me-up. Spooky Halloween party set to take over The Hive Taphouse and Embers Terrace on Thursday, October 31st
WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 1, 2024) – Guests looking for Halloween plans can look no further than joining Mohegan Pennsylvania for Haunt at the Hive. On Thursday, October 31st at 8:00pm, The Hive Taphouse and Embers Terrace will be transformed into the best Halloween Party in Northeast Pennsylvania, featuring food & beverage specials, live entertainment and a spooky good time.
All are welcome to dress in their best Halloween costume, and those who dare to be bold are encouraged to enter in the costume contest. There are three categories – “Scariest,” “Most Original” and “Couple or Group” – and the first-place winner in each category will win a $250 Mohegan Pennsylvania gift card! Costume photos will be taken upon registration, and winners will be announced at 11:00pm.
From 8:00pm – 11:30pm, The Hive Taphouse and Embers Terrace will feature can’t-miss live entertainment. One Christmas Night in Memphis has the same cast and creator behind the number one booked and critically acclaimed show, One Night in Memphis, but with additional festive holiday classic songs to get even the Grinch in the mood! Imagine Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis gathered around some yuletide and singing their legendary hit songs but also merrily singing everyone’s favorite holiday songs, including but not limited to “Jingle Bell Rock,” “White Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Run, Run, Rudolph,” “Blue Christmas,” and many more all performed live with an authentic Rockabilly band. Throughout the show, guests can expect 90 minutes of Rockabilly, Country, Gospel and 1950’s Rock and Roll mixed in with some festive holiday classics and presented in a holly, jolly fashion!
This is an all-ages show, however, most areas of Mohegan Pennsylvania are 21+ including the hotel, casino floor, and most restaurants. All attendees under 21 must be accompanied by an adult, enter via the hotel and convention center entrance, and proceed directly to the Keystone Grand Ballroom.
