WINTER STORM WREAKS HALLOWEEN HAVOC
AT MOHEGAN SUN AT POCONO DOWNS
Due to the inclement weather and the snow storm sweeping the Northeast, live racing has been cancelled at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs for Saturday, October 29, 2011.
The “Grey Ghost and Poltergeist Pace”, which was the third race on the Saturday card, will be rescheduled for Saturday, November 5th. Entries for the race will be accepted on Wednesday through the race office at 570-831-2126. Those entered in the October 29th race are encouraged to re-enter the special Halloween pace for a purse of $10,000.
Pacer’s Clubhouse will also be closed on Saturday, October 29th.
Racing resumes Tuesday, November 1st at 6:30 p.m.
