WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 4, 2024) – Mohegan Pennsylvania is gearing up for another season of sizzle as Hot Summer Fun is right around the corner! From Friday, June 28th through Sunday, September 1st, Momentum members can enjoy exclusive giveaways with chances to win cash prizes, Free Slot Play, a 2024 Limited Edition Ford Bronco Raptor and more. Additionally, Mohegan Pennsylvania is turning up the heat this year by celebrating 15 years of Party on the Patio with a record-breaking 22 weeks of shows throughout the summer season.
Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Hot Summer Fun Kick-Off marks the start of the season with an epic beach ball drop and electrifying performance by Almost Queen: A Tribute to Queen and on Friday, June 28th. Starting at 6:00pm, guests are invited to sit back and relax at the Outdoor Concert Venue while enjoying refreshing beverages like the brand-new Party on the Patio Lager with Lime, a special collaboration with Runaway Train Brewery. Delicious bites will be provided by local lobster food truck Wicked Pissah, and Burger Bus will also serve up delectable hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and seasoned Patio Fries. Tickets are available and on sale now via ticketmaster.com. Additionally, guests can enjoy 2X Status Points throughout the day to get Hot Summer Fun started!
PROMOTIONS
Guests can take advantage of all Hot Summer Fun promotions by signing up for Momentum, Mohegan’s rewards program. Mohegan Pennsylvania will be holding an exclusive $1,000,000 Tropical Treasure promotion, where Momentum members can win Free Slot Play, food credits and up to $1,000,000 in cash! Throughout the Hot Summer Fun season, guests who earn two daily Status Points can redeem game pieces at the kiosks located near the Promotions Booth. On Fridays, guests who earn the required Status Points can redeem 2X game pieces. The first guest to complete all five game boards will win $25,000. Additionally, one lucky guest could instantly win $1,000,000 in cash!
Hit the road in a brand new Limited Edition Ford Bronco Raptor from Tasca Ford OR $50,000 cash! Kicking off on June 28th is Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Buck Wild Bronco Giveaway where Momentum members can earn one entry for every Status Point earned while playing slots or table games and 10X entries every Wednesday throughout July. The grand prize drawing will take place on Saturday, August 3rd.
Mohegan Pennsylvania’s Uncle Sam’s Sweepstakes will take place from Monday, July 1st through Saturday, July 6th. Momentum members can earn one entry for every Status Point earned during the designated period and 76X entries on Thursday, July 4th. The drawing will take place on July 6th, and five winners will be selected every 30 minutes to draw a red, white or blue envelope out of the Prize Barrel that contains either $170, $760 or $1,776 in Free Slot Play.
From Sunday, August 4th through Sunday, September 1st, Mohegan Pennsylvania will be holding a $100,000 Hot Summer Sweepstakes where Momentum members can earn one entry for every Status Point earned during the designated period and 10X entries on every Sunday in August. The grand prize drawing will take place on September 1st with $50,000 in cash being the top prize!
HOT SUMMER FUN DAYS OF THE WEEK
Momentum members can win big or score some sweet deals every day of the week during Hot Summer Fun!
On Play & Eat Sundays, Momentum members who earn at least four Status Points will be able to print a $15 Play and Eat voucher at the kiosk. This voucher will be valid from Sunday through Saturday and is redeemable at all dining locations except Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Forever Young Mondays provide food & beverage specials for guests 55 years of age or older. These guests can enjoy half off select entrées at The Hive Taphouse from Noon-5:00pm. Additionally, guests 55 years of age or older who earn one Status Point will receive $10 in food credit.
The first 500 Momentum members to earn one Status Point on T-Shirt Tuesdays will receive a commemorative Hot Summer Fun 2024 t-shirt. A new design is featured every week – guests can visit each week to collect all nine! Momentum members can begin earning at 6:00am and print their voucher at any Promotional Kiosk beginning at 1:00pm. Vouchers are available until 500 have been claimed or 6:00pm, whichever happens first.
On Wheel Money Wednesdays, one Momentum member who is actively playing a slot machine or table game between 3:00pm – 8:00pm will be randomly selected every 20 minutes to spin the Prize Wheel for a chance to win Free Slot Play or cash prizes. The selected guests will receive three spins and will win the amount of all three spins combined. If a guest lands on the Hot Summer Fun logo three times in a row, they’ll win $10,000 in cash!
Rockin’ Thursdays allows guests who claimed their Hot Summer Fun t-shirt to swipe their Momentum card at any Promotional Kiosk to receive $20 Free Slot Play from 6:00am – 3:00am. Guests are invited to stick around for Party on the Patio every Thursday night!
Beginning July 5th, Momentum members who earn five Status Points on Mystery Treasure Fridays starting at 6:00am will be eligible to play a Mystery Treasure kiosk game to win Free Slot Play and/or cash prizes. Momentum members can redeem at the Promotional Kiosk from 6:00am – 3:00am the following day.
From 1:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 10:00pm on Lucky Duck Saturdays (beginning August 10th), one Momentum member who is actively playing a slot machine or table game will be randomly selected every 15 minutes to select a rubber duck and win from $200 in Free Slot Play to $5,000 cash!
HOT SUMMER FUN ENTERTAINMENT
The action gets amped up with Pennsylvania’s biggest and best free concert series, Party on the Patio, taking place outdoors every Thursday night through September 26th. Dance the night away with the nation’s best tribute bands and enjoy drink specials and local food trucks. Highlighted performances include The Stranger, a tribute to Billy Joel, Parrot Beach, a tribute to Jimmy Buffet, and TUSK, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac. Don’t let the party stop there! Other entertainment throughout Hot Summer Fun includes live bands in Breakers every Friday and Saturday from 8:30pm – 12:30am, live bands in The Hive Taphouse every Thursday and Saturday from 9:30pm – 12:30am, trivia at The Hive Taphouse followed by karaoke every Friday starting at 7:30pm, live acoustics at Embers Terrace every Friday and Saturday from 6:00pm – 10:00pm, and Piano Night with Lee Strubeck at Bean and Vine Café & Wine Bar every Saturday night at 7:00pm. Additionally, guests can attend Sunstakes Saturday on August 17th at Mohegan Pennsylvania. This family friendly event will have live harness racing with over $2,000,000 in purses!
