TSM PRINCESS LEXI came from last to be next. BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT was never on the radar. CAVIART EMMA, rough at several points, was second-over, gained late but never really seemed to find top gear. ONE AFTER NINE was looped, making a play for the lead at the ¼ when breaking, got back on gait and rushed up to take over the top at the half, but ran before the 5/8 and was taken to the infield.
TWELFTH RACE – CAPTAIN ROMANCE was in front past the 1/8, rated the half, then had nobody come after him until the far turn – and none of those made up any ground in a 26.3 last quarter.
